I've been through the same shit with them more often than I'd ever like to admit. I've got some long-ass threads lurking around here. I can completely empathise with your situation

Well Tygervalley dissipointed me 3 times allready in the past, with my Black Ops 1 release i was collecting it at Canal Walk and had no issues with them and other games i bought from them, it's mostly just Tygervalley for me.
And that was by paying cash, would probably be the same if it was not cash.

I've used both the Garden Route Mall BT Games and the Tyger Valley one.
The problem is essentially with their website which then impacts the staff.
The staff at the Garden Route Mall have gone out of their way for me because of the issues that persisted such as getting there, my game is there but payment hasn't reflected on the system. But I always brought the invoice along to show that it has BEEN paid. But that still doesn't stop them from a thousand phone calls to sort it out.
Other issues have been simply not getting my DLC codes or pre-order incentives or getting them a week later.
Also had some issues just getting a refund processed when I wanted to cancel.
Oh, and rocking up to collect a CE of a game only to find it's not there.
As for the Tyger Valley staff, I think I recall one nice guy but generally they're rude/disinterested in actually helping customers and, frankly, they need to learn better hygiene. But then, this is three years ago that I'm talking.
I'm well and truly done supporting BT Games and, frankly, whenever I see a thread like this two things go through my mind: 1) BT Games is still as half-arsed as they've been for the last five years and 2) some poor bastard didn't think it'd happen to him

I have never been to a store that gives worse service than BT-Games. This includes Tygervalley, Canal Walk, Cavendish and V&A Waterfront...
2 of my orders I put in they literally told me to come and pick up the game and then when I get there the system shows the order has been cancelled. This happened twice.
I pre-ordered Diablo 3 Collectors and paid for it IN FULL 4 months before the release. When I got to the midnight release they had all the pre-order people who had paid in full already wait until the very end to get their games. by that time the Diablo 3 bags and posters were gone.
I ordered a preplayed The Darkness from them and they sent it to 3 different stores EXCEPT the store which I designated which was Canal Walk.
Now these are just the order mess ups! The actual service from their staff is INSANELY bad! EXTREMELY bad... MEGAMAZINGSTONDINGLY bad... I have never had someone be that rude to me for absolutely no reason at all. I walk in and ask if they have stock of a game and the dude looks at me and just walks away... He just walked away... Nothing...
I don't want to go on about this anymore since it feels like I am talking about how bad the war was...
TLDR version: I will literally pay more to never deal with them again in ANY way.

lol! When I walk by any BT Games store I walk in and check what games are new, put them on my wishlist at TakeALot and then give them the finger and leave. It really makes me feel better all the way down to my soul!
