My friend quit gaming!!??

Bored? Desperate to boost your post count? I agree with M0nk, and would go so far as to say that if you are not taking the mickey, then you may be blowing your friend's decision out of proportion. Is your shared interest in playing games so integral to your friendship that apathy on either side would jeopardise it?

I didn't think so. ;-)

It is quite possible to adopt a healthier lifestyle by partaking in a certain amount of physical activity [beyond exercising you mouse and keyboard or controller hands] and watching one's intake of saturated fats without wasting money on protein supplements. Has your friend considered ostrich, tuna, pilchards, or lean cuts of read meat?

To swimming, I add going for brisk walks regularly, taking the stairs instead of the escalator or lift, etc.

gee willy whiskers, why so serious. Nah, I'm not really going to take the day off but he did really quit gaming for gym. The thing is, gym worked out for him, and it worked out quickly at that. He has gone from scrawny to "Hulk Smash" in about 5-6 months. Proud of the guy but still think quitting is extreme considering how much he enjoyed gaming.
