What is that game that comes with the preorder? Is it part of the game?
The Sniper Challenge is a taste of the game, you sniper targets from across the rooftops. You complete mini challenges to boost a multiplier for your final score.
It's nothing really amazing, but its a cool addition to show off the graphics of the engine and such.
EDIT: But if you pre-order on steam you get all previous hitman games too![]()
I'm more interested in getting the HD remakes for those games. Hitman 2's graphics did not age well... pity it will only be released on console afaik.
What will only be released on console? The HD remakes? That's quite ironic...and lame.
Yep... my thoughts exactly. As far as I can remember, it might even be just for PS3.
I just did a quick check and it seems the HD release is still just a rumour due to an online retailed in Europe advertising the game prematurely for pre-order. I thought I read somewhere that the HD collection was confirmed, but it seems I was mistaken... so at this stage, still just a rumour.
Was playing Sniper Challenge yesterday. I suck.Managed to get a few more points than Terak.
Just be sure and watch this before you get your hopes up about this game. For me it was a fair warning to stay away.
Not gonna watch an hour long youtube video, but I don't really care what it says/shows. Even if this game had a metacritic score of 3O (which it doesn't), I would still buy it and decide for myself.

I think its fair to say that most games nowadays are changing to make them appealing to a larger audience, and although the video commentary indicated that the guys not fully happy with it. The biggest change for me seems to be the scoring system and a storyline. Seemed like they've stripped the sandbox for more linear story driven mode. And besides, the guy in the video even said himself he barely remembers Hitman 2 and he played a little bit of Hitman Blood Money so he doesn't have the best context to base his review off.
Yep, but it's more linear because of the story that much is clear.

It's quite obvious that they toned the game down to be more accessible, exactly what I didn't want happen, especially when it comes to mission structure and level design.
