Offical Far Cry 3 Thread

@Murph:
LOL!

I love it when the tigers attack the pirates. Just as I'm about to snipe them. And I'm like "Screw this, where's the popcorn." :P

PS. Laying mines for pirate jeeps = best ever!

@Terak, yeah dude, freaks me out in real life as well. Water just isn't my element :P. I'd also walk 50km in this game to find a bridge. I don't even go swimming in the ponds.

I just discovered a beach with a bunch of Mantas swimming around. Man, that scared the kak outta me! xD

Mines also work on infantry.

OMF I still have to do that!

Holy shit this game rocks! That's all I can say.

Had some epic times last night with this game. I was pretty much just hunting animals for the first 3 hours to craft new holsters, lootsacks, wallets etc.

I had to quit the game once to take a break because I think I was being eaten by a shark when I went for a cruise on a jetski. The thought of being in the middle of the sea, being pulled under by a shark scared me enough to take a break. LOL

There was also one part where I was sneaking up on a base, and as irony would have it, not so much sneaking past a crocodile. As it started eating me I had to pause the game just to take a deep breath because that scares the shit out of me. I was swimming on the bottom of the river when all of a sudden I lost control of my character and there was a croc in my face. Imagine my surprise.
Just did the updates last night I shall be joining you

I've taken to not liberating all the outpost as it makes getting around too easy, leaving a few dotted around meaning there is alot more pressure when sneaking through to jungle and suddenly hearing shouts to the left.

I'm making my away around the island slowly but surely taking out all the outposts and climbing the towers.

Yeah I am also doing that. Its more fun when you are deep in the enemies territory.

Yeah but it's nice having a whole island all to yourself without a bunch of bastard pirates shooting at you the whole time :/ lol. As if the wildlife isn't harsh enough already.

I was also burning bears last night. With my fire arrows :P hahaha. This game has such a total disregard for animal life I tell you. Almost as if it forces you to kill everything you see :P

It's either you kill or you will die a WTF death. True Story.

Also, those crocs in the murky waters:eek:

That's what I keep telling myself.

Last night I was gunning down a tiger when my ammo ran out, so I decided the only escape was the river near me (noob call:rolleyes:), I literally jumped into the snout of a croc. Talk about an adrenaline rush.

Been there. Done that :D
Only I barely survived.

HAHA!!

Yeah dude, I know what that's like... was just walking along a river, admiring the scenery. I spotted this lovely looking water lily patch in the water. Saw something weird and decided to go in for a closer look. Close, as in, my nose was touching the water. "OMFG, CROCODILE!!!"

Sneaky, sneaky crocodiles!

I was disappointed to learn that weapon fatigue isn't present as it was in FC2, but overall I would recommend this game to anyone looking for something different.

Did 2 hours last night lol just hunting and crafting to get my wallets and pouches upgraded, did a few side mission 2, those damn komodo dragons had to jump in a vehicle a few times to escape....
