So with the upcoming reveal of Sony's latest home console (February, 20), the PlayStation Orbis or PlayStation 4 (PS4). They now are releasing multiple short videos as part of a documentary chronicling the runaway success of their foray into the videogame console arena - joining gaming juggernauts the likes of Nintendo, SEGA and Microsoft. These videos are probably part of a marketing campaign designed to tug at the nostalgic heartstrings of Sony faithfuls who yearn for a modern Sony console as legendary of consoles past.
But with the underwhelming success of the PS3 compared to their latter day consoles will the PS4 be the console to rekindle the phenomenal success of the first two consoles or has Sony passed their peak and recessing into a steady decline?
