Starcraft 2

Took an hour off work to get my copy this morning, think im going to break a leg or something so I can be off for 6 weeks :)
 
I got guest passes if anyone who does not have the game reads this thread and wants to try it.

So HOTS is out... and this after I just started updating my normal SC2 game last night? Would I need to reinstall or download more stuff when I get HOTS, or would the stuff I am busy getting include HOTS, if I have the key?

It includes Hots so don't worry :) On a side note, 1 PM and no news from the courier :(
 
The Starcraft 2 client downloads the WOL and HOTs in it already. Once its downloaded it will just reconfigure the files to run on HOTs platform. Only thing now it if you have Hots and Wol you can swop between the 2 types of games.

Its really sweet how they did it
 
AWESOME! So I can get a cheap code from somewhere, and then I pretty much already have the game installed and ready! Yeah! Will check it out tonight.

I don't like playing Zerg though.... meh..... not sure if i want to buy this for it's campaign...

Also, can I play against a HOTS owner with my WOL copy in a multiplayer game?

1: yea the game is already set with WOL and HOTs

2: you dont like zerg ??

3: No. you need WOL copy to play WOL and you need HOTs copy to Play Hots. (in multiplayer or campaign ) it works the same as Brood wars did. when you enter the game you could pick starcraft or broodwars. same goes for this one. when you have HOTs and WOL you can swop between the 2. Starter edition only allows WOL game play.

I installed WoL again on Sunday after more than a year and a half, I still need to finish the campaign :D

Got my copy of HotS this morning as well, will install it later to check out the mp :)

You don't like my french?

BT Games did a really good effort for their gamers. Well done to them, and I'll pre-order more games from them in the future.
But Takealot is nou just like any African company (meaning the "we don't really care" attitude)
 
I wont buy from takealot ever since i bought a tv card from them, tuned them via email that the cable from the aerial kept on falling out of the card they wouldnt even hear it and didnt want to refund me, havnt bought a single thing from them since.

I am half french btw :p
