I tried a gambling city and now there are about 1000 criminals rushing around my city ALL the time.

I have 4 criminals on my map and yet people won't protesting crime is high.
 
Just my luck I decide to start a tourist attraction cultured city and where I chose no one has any ferries or trains.

Slightly off topic, but how much data does SimCity use more or less in an hour? I'm keen on getting this tomorrow"whistling:
 
I'm on uncapped so I'm not really monitoring, but it probably shouldn't be much more than Diablo 3 uses.
 
Wow. Isn't that a bit above average for an MP game? I haven't monitored usage of games since I got uncapped, but a few years ago something like WoW would take around 10mb an hour.
 
Ok, so where are we at? Can I buy it yet? Any off putting issues that you guys are still experiencing?
 
Not really, I think most of the core server issues have been fixed now. A few things like leaderboards are still disabled, but otherwise it seems pretty sound at the moment.

Right, the server issues where bugging me the most - really don't want to spend a day tearing out what is left of my hair. As far as in-game goes, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I have a Takealot voucher that is just dying to be used.
 
Ok, so i've been reading this thread for the past few days during my coffee breaks at work and the more i read the more this game sounds awesome :D

Even though the last time i played SimCity was many... many.. many years ago it sounds like this game could still provide many hours of gameplay and enjoyment.
