@Wyzak, you can now please stop with the hating on the forum, you don't even own the game, from people who have the game has been loving it, i have been playing nonstop as it's very addictive.

I did not write the article. Neither did I write any of the previous ones that I posted. Those articles and opinions also come from people who have played the game like you. Does the fact that you enjoy the game invalidate everybody else's opinion? Does the fact that you like the game mean that everybody else will like the game? That's a bit selfish don't you think. People are entitled to both sides of the story (to make an informed opinion), and it would appear that all of you are only giving one side, so I'm obliged to provide the other side.
 
Why do I have to own the game to be able to post articles about the game written by people who do own the game?

i hate getting involved in all this handbag flinging BUT my 2c worth:
because you are basically trolling the sim city threads. everyone knows why you dont like it. so please STOP with the trolling.
 
i couldnt get on West 4 server last night, again. i started a game Europe East 4 as that one seems to always be available so everyone not finding place on the other servers, can come join my region. i named the city MyG-ville... :D

I'm honestly surprised that it's taken this long for somebody to call me a troll - that's normally the first line of defence when people can't debate a topic. I guess trolls have evolved to the point where they read articles related to the topic and share them with other people. Different articles by different reviewers with different opinions who happen to overlap on certain points.

Anyway guys, if you like the game good for you. But not everybody does, so please try to respect the opinion of those who don't like the game. Please try to understand that I'm trying to provide both sides of the story to somebody who might stumble across this article trying to decide whether he should buy the game or not. That person deserves to know about the DRM, and the map size etc before buying the game. If he still decides to buy the game then great, if he decides not to, then great as well...
 
So should I buy it?

Although I am not a fan of the online only crap, I really love Sim city and I have been waiting for this game for awhile.
The launch nightmares put me off though.

Only if you have the time and no wife or kids or other serious responsibilities as it's very addictive and takes alot of your time :P

EDIT: btw, you guys should join us on Pooky's Region still have space availeble on EU West 4, just add me on your friends Shir0u_ZA and click on me and join Afritopia, we got a Arcology going, just need the materials for it now.

My highly efficient coal mining town is coming along nicely :D Glad to see you guys are handling my garbage problems effectively :P
 
I will try and pop on tonight and join you lot, but i have to get some studying in for this week... James under what nick are you playing so i can add you on origin
 
I am trying a Gambling City, but those on Afritopia, please make sure you get a train station or docks, so we are connected somehow as well.

I tried the coal thing as well but somewhere i messed up had no idea how to get enough for the metals HQ, had 3x Coal stations.
