Wait... so there ARE people that are enjoying this game?? It seems to me that everyone is just hating it!

Sigh no what they hate is the small size of the city and the always online crap and a few other stuff that bugs hardcore fans.

The game is super fun.

Mostly the people who don't have it are the ones hating it. I've yet to encounter someone who actually owns the game say they hate it.

If you're talking about Afritopia, then he's there. And he's doing pretty well too.

Btw, we need an Arcology. I'm having endless issues with not enough workers and I'm currently being forced to expand into areas I've marked as industrial.

Exactly! Seriously fun game!!! Why does work have to interfere with my SimCity time :( :(

I am on Afritopia, Pooky's Region, i must say some of you guys have pretty awesome city's, mine is so crowded now i don't know where to bulldoze what anymore and what to build :P

@Graal Are you on Afritopia as well?

@St3baS Dude, haters will be haters, like Graal mentioned if you don't have the game you can't really tell, try it yourself but be aware it's addicted got the game yesterday at 2PM stopped playing at 3AM and probably had 1 hour break.

Just checked your city increase your density on your houses. to get more workers.

Your not in our region the roads for some reason don't connect to us so until Jamers and Wensday joins us you are alone in that corner.


A tip to all: Build $ parks where you want to have low landvalue but high density buildings and build $$ parks for where you want medium wealth houses.

Also if there is a $ close to $$ park then the buildings won't upgrade in landvalue/density till you bulldozes that $ park.


hahah shinrou you are taxing your sims into abandoning your city :D

Its one of the hardest things to do ask James spend the first day trying to figure that out. for some reason sometimes you have 2 buildings next to one another and one will be a huge skyscraper the other one a small house.

I've managed to do it by having high density roads everywhere and placing buildings/parks that enhance the value of the land. Seems to really help.
 
A wtf My people are striking about not having enough jobs so I go check out my com and indu and I and see some of them are closing down since there is not enough workers......
 
I have started the Arcology on Afritopia, cost me 1mil, it's now saying waiting approval not sure if you need to approve it Pooky or how it works.

EDIT: It's approved now we need Metal, Alloy, TV's to be send, so lets get on it :P

You have to make sure the buildings have enough space to increase in density. When you are zoning you will see a green line above the green part you are zoning, that must be green and not red.

Parks are mainly for deciding who lives there eg high, medium or low wealth. In order to increase density people must be happy and then they will increase over time. If you click on a building it tells you if they are happy and if their density is increasing.
 
I'm trying to make a gambling city and it was all going fairly well... But now I need SOOO much police as there are criminals everywhere. Also my traffic is a big problem and I don't know how to solve it.

I can't get enough money to do stuff because I'm spending all my money on Police.
 
Yeah, I couldn't get a gambling city working either. It ended up making me a negative profit so I dropped it.
