SimCity 2013

Someone please complete a research project at their science university!

I need those high powered solar arrays

Its 42% done atm. But then lost connection so it would have been finished by now but internet went down for 4 hours.

Okay... So I was thinking of buying this game.... But INSTEAD I bought Tropico 4 +all the DlC's..... this game is SO much fun :D

I haven't played 4 yet, but I played Tropico 3 when that released. It's a decent game, but it lacks the depth I expect from a city-simulator. I find old classics such as Pharaoh and Caesar III much more satisfying to play.

Just started installing the updated for Sim city, haven't ever played this kind of game except for anon,so lets see how it goes.

I would love a Caesar 3 or Pharaoh remake - a proper one! None of this SimCity style nonsense.

I'm not sure what's going on with the resources for Arcology. Is anyone exporting stuff there?

I built a trade port and and making metal and alloy with my recycling centre but I have no idea how to send it to the great works site.

I'm not yet exporting anything there... It says I need a road connection? :wtf:

I think my favourite is either Settlers or Simcity (ironically both have the same curse), although I put lots of time into the Pharaoh and Caesar games as well.

I don't like the settlers that much....

TBH tropico might be my all time favorite :D ( I actually prefer it to simcity )

You have to click on the great work site, then you click a power button to allow things to be exported to it :P

And if you guys want, i'll abandon my other city if you need space, because i claimed two spaces on Afritopia.

LOL I have three :D

I will also abandon my one up in the corner just let me know.

The more active members we can get on Afritopia the better, and we need those Great Works done! And make sure to get Ferries and Trains up.

The problem is one part of the region seems completely separate...

Maybe we need airports.

I've never played Tropico, but bought the collectors edition off steam, so will give it a shot. Looks fun!

I didn't play the newest settlers, but the old ones very were enjoyable. Although if you expected combat like pharaoh or caesar I can understand why you would not like Settlers.

I finally got my economy back on track and I've started contributing metal and alloy to the acro building.

I'll try building an airport.
