Wireless Keyboard and Mouse plus Headphones

Not sure if I would get use to a palm rest since I never even rested on my laptop also which has space for it, since it feels uncomfortable to me and usually my hands are in the air anyway if they arent they under my blanket when its cold :D

I have a palm rest for my keyboard. I took it off some time ago in order to take my pc to a lan (the palm rest attached to the keyboard made it difficult to fit in to my bag) and I haven't put it back on since. Well it served me well, I get used to my keyboard without the rest very easily and frankly it is too much effort to put it back on for what its worth now.

Sweaty palms + xboxhueg palm wrests is also a big no. Especially palmwests with textured material on them that inevitably collect dirt and become gummy and disgusting. Have one of those on my G13 keypad thing and it frequently needs to be cleaned... Granted that's a palmwrest that is actually comfortable++

btw Ichigo, avoid this abomination from Logitech. If you're planning to use a wireless keyboard the way I imagine you are, you're going to be hating the lack of edges on which to grip the thing to carry/move it with right out of the box. That is, unless you'll always be using your left hand to place your keyboard somewhere to your left anyway, or get used to having to rotate the keyboard to handle it with your right hand instead.

Thanks for the tip will remember that I usually move it around the coffee table when visitors come over and maybe use it on the couch and also dont like the look of it something looks odd about that keyboard :D

I also like certain mouses and especially big ones.

Mice.

I'm dying of curiosity here, what did you end up getting?

mouse (mous)
Plural mice (ms) or mouses
A hand-held input device that is moved about on a flat surface to direct the cursor on a computer screen. It also has buttons for activating computer functions. The underside of a mechanical mouse contains a rubber-coated ball that rotates as the mouse is moved; optical sensors detect the motion and move the screen pointer correspondingly. An optical mouse is cordless and uses reflections from an LED to track the mouse's movement over a special reflective mat which is marked with a grid that acts as a frame of reference.

Both are acceptable, mouses and mice for the computer device

Still waiting for my salary to come in on the 1st before I decide what I am getting so only will be on Saturday.

All I need to do after that is upgrade my 4 year old laptop then all set but luckily still plays games fine and does 1920 x 1080.

Your gonna have a fun weekend, I'm sure Joker can suggest a nice upgrade also when needed

Ye will ask him when the time comes still saving every month so far got 6k and still a few k to go.

Think the last time I asked was in 2011 so the information is very outdated now :p

I ended up settling for the Logitech mk260 and didnt even have to setup anything and loving the keyboard feel.

Nice :) I love how Logitech's works well with almost any app. I use it a lot wile gaming.

Did you test out the range?

Not yet just using it at 2m atm from my laptop will test the range tommorow

I am also loving the media keys since it means I dont have to open my laptop up to change volumes in a game without alt tabbing :D and the key for the calculator is also neat.

Starcraft 2 doesnt seem to like my wireless keyboard and mouse yet others games are fine with them

Seems my mouse battery lasted exactly a month so I must have been using it a lot or the battery has a short life span, but anywho every month isnt too bad for one AA :D.
