that was enough for me to not even start playing the game tbhI dont know how some ppl dont get scared, maybe they dont buy into the story and can disconnect from the game. When i saw those babies in Dead Space, needless to say i was freaked the f*ck out!

I have fond memories of that!
Man there was a game and for the life of me i cant remember the name, but basically it was a side scroller and u used ur keyb to change direction and ur mouse to aim. Use to give me the chills as a kid
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
I thought FEAR was about as scary as a butterfly landing on a flower
i kaked off in dead space, i actually stopped playing. Also dont know if anyone played phantasmagoria, as a kid playing this game over
The scariest game of all time in my opinion has to be Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
The best horror game is Silent Hill 2. It's in my top 5 best games played.![]()
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl is the only game that properly scared and creeped the shit out of me.
That's true. I don't know if it was a bug or intentional because of the psychic presence in one of those underground X-labs, but it was super creepy when the door that was locked when I tried it flung open in the next second or two...
I can remember one time at res at university, I was playing Doom 3 on a Sunday, the level where you actually go to hell. My friend decided to go to church, and I was so freaked out and feeling guilty for playing this game while they go to church.
Playing it correctly, I had the lights turned off, the music in my earphones up, and my nose almost an inch from the screen. I didn't ever hear them come into the room...
Needless to say, when they touched my shoulder, I nearly crapped the 7 colours of the rainbow in my pants. I flew back from my chair, broke my keyboard, and shouted like I was being sodomised by a angry rhino.
So that's my biggest scare ever in my gaming history. I don't play horror games anymore...
I never play with my headphones fully on. One ear is always free to hear my surroundings because my wife likes to sneak up and scare the kakas out of me like that too.
