I recently found myself in yet another one of those fatuous PC vs console arguments
Opinion: PC fanboys...
Opinion: PC fanboys...
Like I stated in another post ....
PC's rulez! No Pew Pew console for me .... until I take delivery of my Xbox next month ...
But that is my opinion!!![]()
I still reckon PC's are unbeatable in the FPS MMORPG & RTS realm...
I think that's still really just a personal preference, though. I grew up a PC gamer, and only bought my first console when I was in my early 20s. I'm now predominantly an Xbox gamer, and I guess I've just learned how to use a controller properly. I can honestly say I prefer the controller in FPSes to a mouse and keyboard - in fact, I play far better with a controller than I ever played with a mouse and keyboard. It's partly because, as a left-hander, I've never really found a keyboard all that much use, since I have to use cursor keys for movement, and the surrounding keys aren't really within comfortable reach for hotkeys. I also find tracking targets easier on a stick than a mouse.
But again, it's a purely personal preference, and I still play a lot of Team Fortress 2 on PC.
From a Utility perspective the PC wins hands down.
All these differences that people keep stating as to why a PC is superior to a console are quickly diminishing.
That's because the consoles are becoming more like PCs everyday
