The official Witcher 3 thread

AAargh the computer here won't load the video.
Really wanted to see it, will need to find a download of it to watch offline instead.

This game is the main reason that I want a next gen console. I played The Witcher 2 twice and got 100% achievements for it, one of my favorite games:love:

I'm very excited for it!

I'll have to play through Witcher 2 again at some point, but I really look forward to see how Geralt's story continues and even more, how the open world is going to work out.

I'm fully confident in CD Project Red though. Loved the previous games to bits

Nice one, I actually haven't finished 2, but it because i haven't actually played xbox since I moved.

This is one thing about the Witcher games... awesome cinematics. Even the opening and end cinematics of Witcher 1 was awesome despite the game's age.

I watched this over and over this afternoon - even had some non-gamer folk leering in and commenting on how amazing it looks.
Amped.

You and me both dude. I saw the notification on my facebook page when it was released this afternoon, but I only managed to get a chance to watch it just before I posted it here. I cannot wait!

I particularly liked the way it ended - just the dude on a stump with that expression on his face.

Time to hit Witcher 2 again.

Damn right. Their cinematics are incredible.

Um, never finished 2, is there a closing cinematic?

So ... yes? I dont want to watch it because i still intend on finishing, but is it in game graphics or a cinematic like the intro?

It is like the intro (which was also awesome by the way)... You can actually watch it. It won't spoil anything, but you might not understand it either. What I love about the Witcher 2 is that there is something like 13 different endings. I've only done about 4 I think.

I've seen the intro and almost finished the game, just haven't used my xbox for a while.

Sorry to go OT here, but has anyone on the PC version tried the new combat system in Witcher 2 (the patch... or the mod or whatever it was)
I plan on making Witcher 2 my holiday/leave game.

Game is looking awesome, trying to get my boss to realise this game looks better than the upcoming Dishonored release but no word of him admitting to that yet.
