Omni VR treadmill pricing

I created something ... similar ... for myself one/two years ago. Don't laugh at the PJs, but this is my lounge. Unsane took a photo because he found my "setup" amusing. Spare PC + TV + Treadmill = sorted! Was a while back, was playing TERA:Rising.

I am glad my wife doesn't troll these forums, she might make me set this up for myself!
 
R 5000.00 for something I'll use for a week (and possibly parties).
I'd rather go paintball shooting or go to a nonlethal shooting range [or what ever you call it].

It's an interesting idea, but it just won't fit anywhere..
 
if you combine this with the oculos rift and a gun you can play fps standing up... it will be all about ones fitness and movement reaction skills... now gamers will be the buff guys for running :P

Was trying to bring a point across using the term "nonlethal". Paintballin' can be lethal if aimed at your nuts and you don't have to proper protection that you should [though I'm sure that wouldn't be allowed].
 
I wonder if anyone will make virtual nerd bootcamp for this, big scary sarge behind you yelling run maggot run

Fair enough, but for me I couldn't be bothered to go to the shooting range or paintball. Only ever play paintball once a year or so (Always a mission to organise enough friends). For the rest of us this would be pretty damn cool.
