Yip. I am training everyday now. Running, sit ups and push ups and pull ups. I was told by a royal marine that weights are not good for the army. They don't want big guys they want okes with stamina.

That's a bold move. All the best!

A friend from university also joined the royal marine cos he couldn't stand working in an office :) - well that and his father signed up for him cause he was struggling to get a job :p

Burpees is also good for stamina.

Ok so I have a royal marine training manual. Help me get ready for the rmc.

This is the first time I have ever felt so sure about something.

I ran for a full hour yesterday. My legs are so sore lol. But I flippy love pushing myself physically.

I come from a bad ass family.

My moms grandfather was one of the people who started the miners union. He aslo was at the battle of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_El_Alamein which some of you should know from cod 2.(when you defend that town against the germans and you eventually artillery the german tanks.
also he saw this man hang in milan

His son was a mercanary during the congo crysis in the 70s(I think it was or in the 60s can't think now) also was a street fighter and was in jail at the age of 12.

Then my great grandfather was called tiny and he was part of the nazi movement during the ww2

My dads mothers uncle flew a spit fire during ww2.

And my dad was fighting in angola which he saw action was ambushed and most of his squad was killed. And my moms father was enlisted to the sa army but he never saw action.

Wow dude I say go for it, life is not about doing the things that don't make you happy but about the things that make every fibre in your body cringe for more. Wish you all the best in your quest to get in.

I have a sponsorship to get to england. So that is out the way. Now I can put all my energy and focus for my training.

You're braver than me, that's for sure. My bro tried his luck at the Foreign Legion recently and they are rough as all hell, heh, but I commend him for trying at least.

If your heart is dead set on it and you are gonna give it your all, who is anyone to tell you otherwise. Good luck, you're gonna need it :)

Thanks man. Its going to be tough. Especially the royal marines as its one of the hardest training schedule. They only push you to the limit so you can handle yourself in the battlefield. So you have a chance to live through it.

Since you started this thread I didn't know what to say. However I've come to the decision that it's probably a good choice. I hope you get accepted. It will be good for you to get away from here for a while.

Best of luck Tsar! May your journey be a good one!
