Well, I sent all of the new members who are joining us the following message via Facebook PM and MyGaming PM. I'm not sure what their usernames are going to be because a lot of folks didn't reply to me, so the rest will be up to them:

Been spending too much time online, refreshing inboxes/Facebook, so it's up to the members to ensure that they send you a Team Speak PM or voice chat with you as soon as they log onto the server. Also, I only sent those details to folks who've liked the Facebook page and who will definitely be joining us for FFXIV.

11.10 Moogle is full ;-(, not accepting new characters. So sad, guess I will wait for server transfers in a few months
 
Don't fret guys. This happens every "launch". The server should become available in a while. This happened during Phase 4 and eventually everyone got onto Moogle.

Must be since no one else is complaining, either everyone else is in or everyone who was waiting broke down and started on another server.
 
In the event that some of you can't get into Moogle EU, roll on Odin EU for now (that is, if you're ABLE!) as that is the other preferred EU server. However, our ultimate goal is to get everyone on Moogle, so heed Wyvern's advice and hang tight for a bit. I realise that it's frustrating, but Vahlor and I had to wait a few hours before being able to create our characters on Moogle during Phase 4. Eventually, we got in!
 
Almost 5 hours, still nothing, oh well, I will persevere, even if it means waking up at 3am to get in. I will NOT be seperated from the SA crowd, it is an investment being patient to be with friends.

But I must also say, I am REALLY pissed off that this company could not have the foresight, common sense or even intelligence to implement a queue system. Other than having to relog every time to see if you can get in, this must be one of the worst methods for the client to manage load. I would MUCH rather have a queue system and watch it count down from 2000 to 0 than this idiotic, imbecilic mashing of a button.

I'm so, so sorry that you've been dealt such a bum hand, Shrike! I see that most of the servers are experiencing the same overload, so my previous suggestion is invalid. Not that it'll make you feel any better, but quite a few of our members either can't get in because they did not pre-order, have had issues with their payment not going through, or just can't get in because of the same issue you are experiencing. We DEFINITELY appreciate you waiting to join us on Moogle. I personally have played quite a few MMOs with you and am looking forward to jamming with you once more! :cry:

We are expecting major congestion during the period starting with the Early Access on Aug. 24, 2013 at 09:00 (GMT) leading up to the official game launch on Aug. 27, 2013 (GMT).

If a large volume of players attempt to login to the game simultaneously, certain players may receive the following message: “This World is currently full. Players in queue: ##.” If you receive this message, we ask that you please wait until your login is processed.

Try create a character on Moogle at 8 pm (or just before), when the servers come back online. It may just work.
 
So this is sounding incredibly bad, looks like I might be blocked from Moogle once I load up on Tuesday :(.

If I have to I'll role on Odin as a fluff char and just continue trying to log into Moogle, but this sucks :cry:.
 
As I said before, the posts on many Final Fantasy fan sites indicate that most of the EU servers are experiencing these difficulties! I think they'll rectify the issue soon enough. Do not despair! :)

I think by Tuesday the rush would have worn off, I hope.
 
Quite funny actually, I can't remember ever pushing a refresh button so much. 120 pushes from 11 to 17.00 and another 40 or so before I go to sleep tonight. Obsessive? Probably.
