Damn @R4C3, sorry to hear about your mom, I know what you're going through, I lost my mom to cancer back in '98. I remember those times when her white blood cell count was so low from the chemo that she basically had no immune system and when we visited her in hospital, we had to go through a sterilization mission and wear all gowns and masks and gloves and stuff because the slightest infection would probably kill her.

I hope you nail those doctors that screwed up so much, they sound really negligent. It's not even like it was a dodgy-ass government hospital.

Wow heavy man,I pray your mom has a speedy recovery.A friend of mine's mom passed away yesterday in hospital,had an infection on the heart.Terrible loss.
You must def sue those doctors or the hospital.

PS.She also had cancer a few years ago.

fsck dude sorry to hear that!! If you don't mind my asking, what sort of Cancer is she battling with?? I lost my dad 4 years ago to Pancreatic which was tough, I didn't even get a chance to do my research and get him on the right trials considering it's the one cancer there is no coming back from.

I can't believe there are docs out there who show little regard for their patients it's bullshit. :mad:

Well it started with a lump on her breast(this was apparently secondary) a month or so ago then they discovered Ovarian cancer, when they opened her up it spread to her intestines, bladder, stomach etc. They cut out what they could. The problem is the dr missed the lump that she had from a scan a few months ago and only when my mom found the lump acted on it. The 2nd opinion dr showed her the lump they missed on the x-ray some months ago. Most of this was not even necessary....

We are going to lodge a complaint at the hospital and phone a lawyer as soon as it settles a bit to see what we can do. Lost my dad a year ago also with cancer.

We are researching very night to see what the best options are. I must say google is very informative.
