Hey,

First time here on mygaming, been active for a while now on mybroadband, but I thought I'd come as the 'experts' about this topic.

My daughter is 13 now, and I need to get her some easier games, to play. She's not a novice and enjoy games like Sims 3. She picked up my Xbox recently and started playing Mercenaries, but it's a little too advanced for her.

Seems like she's into the whole RPG / open world kinda stuff.

Anyone knows of a rpg easy enough, but still a little challenging, that I can look at for her to play. PC preferably, but online is also an option.

Thanks!

I think Fable:The Lost Chapter might be a good option, if it's not too old for you.

She just had a run for a couple of hours with Gears of War 2.... really enjoyed it.

Maybe I should give her more FPS then LOL

Skyrim. Unless violence puts you off its not that voilet though. Fable is a boring game. Skyrim is the best open world rpg to date loads of mods and what not out there. You can get the legendary edition comes with all the dlc it will keep her busy for months and years.

Subjective opinion asserted as fact.

It has a great sense of humour, it's family-friendly, offers great choices throughout the story that defines your character and manages to combine Lionhead's charm with a fairly mature and interesting story.

Just because you found it boring doesn't mean that everyone will :)

Skyrim is probably a good place for casual gamers to start. It's not a bad game, just incredibly shallow. Consider it the "Baby's first RPG."

Hahaha I really didn't like it. I thought the humor to be to childish. And yes skyrim is a good game to turn off to. I prefer my old school rpgs :) Like you ly :)

That was all part of the charm, you silly tit :p

That's part of Lionhead's MO though (to one degree or another), almost all of their games carry that innocence whether it was Theme Hospital, Dungeon Keeper, Black and White or the Fable series.

It's one of the things I love about their games :o

I digged black and white. Don't get me wrong :p Ag the main thing is you enjoy it nothing wrong with it :)

Minecraft is quite casual, and one can spend many many hours on it.

orcs must die!, not open world, and not an rpg. Don`t know why I thought about it... just the most fun i`ve had in recent years of gaming.
