PSU died, need some input on getting a replacement

hahaha! yeah I've seen kids trying to run some high-end hardware on their stock standard 200w psu :D

Makes me weep for humanity :cry:

This is a nice explanation on efficiency levels and (at the end) even shows the amount of money you can save from using a more efficient power supply... I think power is cheaper in South Africa than in the States so you'd probably save less money but the price of electricity has been going up of late:

well if you take all of that into consideration then the Be Quiet looks like the better option :rolleyes:
 
Im curious have you had bad experiences with the ones mentioned? what do you rate as best to worst brand wise for psu's?

When I get some time I'll do a thread on psu's :)
But yes in short that beQuiet is way ahead of the psu's mentioned.
