Dam i have not seen this page in a while. I only play when i can busy with cycling training and to wasted to play at night hope to get back to play a few again
 
Hahahahaha, well sorry for confusing u Roomys :D.

z1oc, just a question, are u wasted from being tiered of training every night or is it that u cycle and then get wasted every night there after? lol.

Did any of u get to watch the final or rAge?
 
I train in the morning do about 60KM i start at 5:30 Am with the group. Then work XD i do this Tuesday to Thursday. So im kinda f#cked at night.

I wanted to watch the games at rAge but the spectator thing was fail and could not find it once i did was over. Still want to find the vods of the games.
 
Good to know I was not the only one with that problem, I could also not watch it :(

Wow thats good riding there mate, a little bit tooo active, need to try some days in between just to allow active recovery on ur quads and glutes. How long have u carried on with this routine?

i dont ride hard on Mondays,Fridays nothing on Sunday. Tuesday Wednesday Thursday its mornings Saturday is 70km or more.
Been doing the morning cycles for over 3 weeks now. Normally was just 10-20km in the mornings :D been cycling for 2 years now.

Yea the spectator part was an epic fail. Really wanted to see the games of the top SA players.
 
Well the thing is, our bodies are extremely addaptive to training, but at the same time the same can be said about resting. So even though u have been cycling for 2 years, if u have stopped and started again, the best u can do is follow the FITT principle, u can only increase ur activity lever with 20% per month, so if u started 3 weeks ago, jumping from 20km to 70km is gonna cause some adverse effects. Obv I am not a true gamer cuz I only play sc2, BUT I am a Personal trainer with 14 years exp, so right now we are stepping into the realm of my life lol.

But its really good that u have improved so well to this point, shows that u are really determined! GJ!

yea i get what you saying. But atm its not more the fact that its hard na the morning training is more a fact to joining the new cycling group. I normally do 100KM + on the weekends but now with the morning thing i had to cut it down to 70-80KM due to doing +/-180km in the week. But the 1st week was hard its a lot easier now. I think im kinda fit but the guys i ride with are insane.
 
Hahaha, yeah u sure are fit to do 180km+ every week no doubt about that, but again, u are right it is ridiculous how serious some people take it. But u know what, just get a bike, (motorized ofc ;) ) there aint much better than that! I'll be ecstatic if I could do 70km every morning on my baby instead of getting ready for work, dam the passes will be awesome, sorry im getting carried away in a fantasy atm lol.

Ok, more to help u, it will take 28 days for ur body to adapt to the level of training u are doing and the changes u have made to it to start riding in the morning and the intensity change that allows u to keep up with the group, so keep ur head up, with 3 weeks over, ur right there mate!!

Use to be in dia 1v1
and master for the rest. But business got a bit too hectic and I had to start leaving the sc thing alone a bit, that was around the time I signed onto this forum too and had to go away traveling so never really got a chance to get to know any of u guys and more so did not get a chance to play hots really, this is the first season I am back.
