i dont think that engine is very optimized (its still just an evolution of an engine from 1999), battlefield 4 looks a shitload better graphically and yet it only requires 4 gigs of ram and a 512mb gfx card. I think they (Idiocity ward "whistling
are just inflating the specs to make the game seem like a so called pc killer (crysis killer)
