Yes - and I'm loving it, although I have to admit it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

It's basically an over-the-top, ridiculous action anime - if you've seen Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann you'll know what I mean. It's really not a series that you need to take seriously at all, but it's fun to watch.

Yeah,it caught my attention when someone mentioned Tengen Toppa Legann,which i loved.
 
Was just wondering guys seeing as this is the anime thread does Cos play fall under this as well or is there a different thread for that

Or do we create one?

Eh ... never really thought about it. I suppose you could create a new thread, but I don't know how active it would be - too many people on this forum seem to think cosplay is a "strange" hobby.
 
Well i don't do it myself i just like looking at the Girls in the cool outfits and some of them are really good. :D

Maybe i should give it a try and see if it takes of or fails. i'll drop iit in off topic

Would have been nice if we had a anime sub-forum but I don't think there is enough people here to warrant one. So I think it is best to keep this all "otaku" related to avoid confusion.

Agreed. It's also nice seeing this thread steadily tick over instead of becoming stagnant.
 
Ok peeps I need some good new manga recommendations. I'm pumping my Kobo Glo full of anime and I need to stock up for when I need lots of time to kill! :D

Noblesse, Croquis Pop and Tower of God - they are a manhwa but just as good as any manga.
 
Finished 1st Season of Kuroko no Basket really cool.
Started Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill.

also busy with the plans for trip in December to Japan...

Where did you get your manga from..? I use domdomsoft manga downloader to basically download everything and then put it on one of my devices. Can't find Croquis Pop there though....I see I won't be able to load these onto my devices. The long pages makes it improbable.

I just use mangafox, and read it online.

ToG used to have long pages but it stopped after a certain chapter and was cut up into smaller pages. Croquis originally was also in a longer page format (god knows why Korea wants to be different) but the books/manhwa I have are all the standard A5 sizing.

Still no Kenpachi Bankai action last week, will have to wait till thursday to see what happens next.

Loved this weeks chapter of Bleach :D Was nice seeing Ichigo again. Can't wait until he sees some action.

Also love how Korean's brings games into their manga/manhwa (gaming is a massive part of their culture).
