As revealed by the game’s official UPLAY page, players on PC will at least need a quad-core and a 64-bit system to run the game successfully. The requirement for the game on PC is as follows:
Minimum:
CPU: Either the Intel Core2 Quad Q8400 2.6 GHz or the AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6 GHz
RAM: 2GB GPU: Either the NVidia GeForce GTX 260 or the AMD Radeon HD 4870 with at least 512MB of VRAM and Shader Model 4.0
OS: Windows Vista 64-bit (SP2), Windows 7 64-bit (SP1) or Windows 8 32 or 64-bit
HDD: 30GB
Sound: DirectX 9.0c sound card with the latest drivers
Recommended:
CPU: Either the Intel Core i5 2400s 2.5 GHz or the AMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0 GHz
RAM: 4GB
GPU: Either the NVidia GeForce GTX 470 or the AMD Radeon HD 5850 with at least 1GB of VRAM and Shader Model 5.0
The game is currently set to arrive on PC on Nov. 19.

Looks like I will make it, might just pick this up on payday, but I'll see how it goes. I still have to finish all the games from AC2 onwards on PC before I get to AC IV, but it would be nice to have the same pre-order extras on PC that I had on PS3 (minus the season pass stuff, not getting that on PC again).

Lol, I was thinking of waiting for rerelease as well, got all the previous ones from between R60 to R100 each, but I don't know if I can wait that long. Once I finish ACIII on PC, I'll decide if I can wait, if I don't get it on payday that is.

this is one of those games i'll probably never finish
Ac1 got it played a tiny bit, same applies to ac 2
there's too many games coming out, i mean i still have mass effect 1 which i bought back in 2008 on the xbox that i still havent finished
I also have this problem, but there are a few game franchises I always play through to completion - got a soft spot for AC :3

I don't remember seeing this earlier but we have the AC IV season pass up for pre-order.
Still R180 to play as a slave turned assassin seems fun so I'm in.

Got the season pass on PS3, did the same for ACIII. I definitely consider it worth it in both cases, but I doubt I will do the same for PC.
