Whose lines have already been upgraded by Telkom?

Hey Guys. Just to confirm. I had phoned Telkom and they told me the 2mb to 4mb upgrade has been done how ever ports need to be reset and will be completed by the 23rd of November! Tried to phone and get it done manually and they told me they have orders to leave the resetting of the ports till the 23rd!

Could try phoning again, maybe another person could help you? Other than the 35-40min waiting time there wasn't any issue with the actual upgrade :D.
 
I just called Telkom; waited about 5 minutes before a technician was able to reset and test my port. It's now been 100% upgraded and should work after the router reboot.
 
Just phoned them now and acted DUMB so they reset my port!! hahaha. Bonus!

Syncing at 4MB now! Will check when I get home!

So far it sounds that way! Hope Telkom really up's there socks since they have announced that they are faulty so they are going to change there infrastructure of the business! They said they are going to boost everything from Quality to customer service so we will see how far that gets!!

Is that according to telkom checker? My telkom checker has a max of 10mb while the router says max attainable is 20mb..

No I checked it out! Telkom aint upgrading 10mb. You never know they might give it to us as a christmas present?

Agreed that they should be getting their A into G. The critters sit right outside my complex at least once a week and it seems I will not do better than my measly 4mbps line. Have to say I got a pic of at least 5 of their trucks at the self same box, which reminded me of an old Irish joke: How many Irishmen does it take to change a light globe? 5. One to hold the globe and 4 to turn him on the chair. :\

I just got upped to 10mb so not complaining here :D, and double the upload speed :)
