Games you want or hoping are announced in 2014

Haha. Why that game?

I just loved it to bits. Haggard and Sweetwater are the funniest characters, especially Haggard and Bad Company 2 had an amazing end sequence followed by the most mammoth of cliff hangers. Plus the 'in jokes' aimed at Call of Duty were hilarious!

i would really love to see Another Command & Conquer Generals 2 game this year i'm craving for a real good strategy game.

I think they canned that after the early access testing or something along those lines

Yes they did but they also said that it's not the end so there is still hope unless some other dev comes up with something worth while because the strat community is starved for a worth while game again

Prey 2. If I remember correctly the end of the game hinted a 2nd installment?

Far as i know it's still in development but they stalled because they are changing 70% of the aspects of the game because the whole Topsy turvey turn around upside down now your facing right in the wrong direction mechanic made people sick. (Incl me i have motion sickness can't even fly a jet in BF then i wanna hurl)

Makes sense,
It's about 8 years now since the first installment hoping they finish it towards 2016 :)

Freelancer 2 (I will hope for this every single year)
C&C Generals - Really loved this series
Starcraft 2 - Protoss campaign

Starlancer 2
Baldur's Gate 3
A proper Cricket game - Although Donald Bradman's Cricket looks really good, so this may come to pass.
Far Cry 3 expansion that adds a Co-op story mode
Dawn of War 3

Battle for middle earth 3. Then my life will be complete.

Also wouldn't mind a Titan Quest 2 (RIP THQ).

I've said it a hundred times before

BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 3

I think this can be added to hear, after I saw it in the Images Thread...

....WARCRAFT 4....

All of you guys have been rep'd for those pure awesome games

- Battle for Middle Earth is one of fav games of all time, man it was just so awesome! I loved holing up in Minas Tirith and putting the AI on hard and just having constant waves of orcs and urukhai crashing against the walls :D.

- Titan Quest was awesome! I loved it more than Diablo back then, the whole Greek mythology was just seriously epic. It's such a shame we never saw a sequel :(. Does anyone know who actually bought the IP after THQ's auction?

- BFBC2 is the best Battlfield game of all time for me. Better than previous installments and better than the shite that was BF3. I'm a CoD fanboy but BFBC2's awesomeness was so awesome I played it more than CoD during it's lifespan.

- Warcraft 4, best suggestion evaaaaar! I simply loved Warcraft, I was seriously addicted as a kid, like my parents had to force me off the PC. Warcraft

You did play Immortal Throne, right? The expansion for Titan Quest?

Nordic Games now owns the TQ IP, including a plethora of other THQ IP's. They bought a bunch for like $5 Million.

Here you go:

Alexander Sliwinski @ Joystiq said:
The THQ back catalog auction results are in, with Nordic Games riding away with the intellectual property (IP) rights to Darksiders, Red Faction and MX vs. ATV for $4.9 million. The company picked up nearly all the assets in the auction, including Titan Quest, Supreme Commander, Frontlines, Stuntman, Juiced, Full Spectrum Warrior, Destroy All Humans and much more.

"First and foremost we are very happy about this deal which also turns over a new leaf for the entire Nordic Games Group. In the long term, we either want to cooperate with the original creators or best possible developers in order to work on sequels or additional content for these titles," said Nordic Games CEO Lars Wingefors. "A very important point for us is not to dash into several self-financed multi-million dollar projects right away, but rather to continue our in-depth analysis of all titles and carefully selecting different financing models for developing new instalments of acquired IPs."

The other reveal is 505 Games grabbed the rights to Drawn to Life and Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for $300K.

The news follows this afternoon's unexpected acquisition of the Homeworld franchise by Gearbox Software. We now know the price tag for Gearbox to re-release the original games on digital distribution networks and take a swing at its own spin on the real-time strategy franchise was $1.35 million.

I have indeed :)

Thanks for that dude, I haven't heard of Nordic Games before... So there is hope that we might get another Titan Quest at some point.

I just want more details on the new Uncharted \o/

CnC Generals 2 would be nice but after having played the closed Alpha, it's just lacking the fun aspect that CnC Generals 1 brought :( Also didn't they cancel it anyway?

Mirrors Edge 2 and Beyond Good and Evil 2 would also be nice to see.

Then the usual hopeless dreaming of HL3,TF3,Portal 3, L4D3 :p

They're behind Planetary Annihilation which is one of my wishlist games, so I'm holding thumbs that they can bring a brilliant TQ sequel to light at some point.
