Telkom has upgraded many 4Mbps ADSL subscribers to 10Mbps, but what if you cannot get 10Mbps? Here is what you should know.

I have a 1Mbps line, Telkom said that it will be ugraded to 2 Mbps in January, starting February and I really enjoy the good service, although they are a little bit more expensive than other ISP.

Exactly what happened to me. I got upgraded to 10mb/s but the exchange only supports 4mb/s. So I downgraded as soon as the upgrade happened. No worries. Same service, smaller bill.

Having the same problem. Sync at 4mbs but my account shows I'm a 10Mbps user. Trying to find out when the exchange in my area gets upgraded without any luck over the past 2 weeks

Sync at 10mb for a few months now, but might downgrade to 4mb as running out of stuff to download on 10mb.

There are many people that have issues, there's a major problem with telkom at the moment.

The major problem with Telkom at the moment is that they are understaffed, underskilled and just plain shit. Just thought I'd let you guys in on the secret.
