I wonder what's going on with the double posts lately. I stopped happening for a while, but it seems to have started up again

I think it is now time-based, because posts that are separated by a longer period seem to register as different posts, but posts that quickly succeed each other register as a single post. Which makes sense.

I was wondering about that as well, but what I meant though is that I keep seeing the same post, just posted twice. Like you post once, and that one post pops up twice. I wonder if it's the server struggling with all the traffic this week or something

Yeah, dunno, fixed it now. Was trying to post earlier and the web paged freezed. See now it posted it twice. Maybe just my sucky Telkom Internet.
 
Thinking about turning my ps3 which blu ray drive bombed out into a ps+ digital box it just does not feel the same when you cant put a disk in it lol.

I much prefer digital downloads of games to disks these days, they are all there on the console without the need to find and change disks, no risk of the disk getting damaged or lost, you can re-download it if you delete it and want it back or get a new ps3, it's quieter without the disk spinning, etc.

Also, if you have a PS+ sub, you don't have to keep spending money to buy new games.

I can't even remember when last i played a game on my ps3 that i needed a disk for. I sold most of my games that i had on disk once i completed them. I don't plan on getting any more games on disk.

Aah, sucks man, but at least it's only a few more days. I also had to renew my sub two weeks back. January is not the best of months for something like that to pop up :(

January isn't the best of months for anything to pop up. And strangely enough, it is also the month that everyone decides to have their sales.

Dude, I am so keen on that. It had a hand in from Studio Ghibli and the reviews were pretty good for it. I really want to buy that game. If it is still up by payday, I am so getting it.

Busy playing it at the moment. Got it in that sale Matt linked. Huge download, about 22Gb, but an awesome game, really getting into it. If you get it, one tip - SAVE YOUR GAME!!! Too many a times have I now been killed by some monster I thought was insignificant and too many times did I have to replay the last 20 minutes...

Dude it's a fantastic JRPG, one of the best in years. Do yourself a favour and buy it NOW. :D

Also, the game becomes quite difficult later on so you need to grind those levels.

Agreed. I'm still early on in the game and the one boss fight had me spitting and swearing. Eventually got it right but damn, it took forever. And remember... SAVE! :p
