Which older games are you still playing to this day?

Yep. :D Was very happy with them doing that. If you ever decide to play it then consider the Fixt mod.

Oh cool, I'll look it up now. Thanks for the tip.

Just for reference, here is more on the Fixt mod for Fallout 1 that Solitude mentions in his post. http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_FIXT

My sister is still playing sims 1 with all its expansion packs because she loves the last one "making magic", and she loves to keep a dragon as a pet and turn sims into frogs, I don't play it as much as her.

Wow, now that brings back memories. I played the hell out of Sims with the Making Magic expansion.

Do you know the house on the cliff at the top of the screen, that is where I would always lived, with my dragons.

Do you remember this place?

Picture is broken, but I think I know what house you're talking about.

OK should I remove the picture, I think I copied the wrong url of the pic.

But yes it was the most expensive , biggest house on the game, if you did not build any other, we should start a sims threat, how do you start a thread?

I think there might already be a Sims thread, it might just be pretty dead at the moment. Feel free to check it out.

I reckon you can leave the picture as is, don't worry about it.

I would rather wait till a regular revive the thread otherwise the noob is the target again,

I have also played a lot of sonic these days, its actually good games, I though it was useless at the moment when it came out, but now I love it.

Alright here goes:

  • SSX 3 (my original disc but with the PCSX2 emulator as I no longer have a PS2). The only PS2 game I still play these days since the mofos stole my copy of Silent Hill 2 :(. I actually haven't fired up SSX 3 in a bit of a while so I think I'll have to maybe do that tonight (yippee!).
  • Half-life 2 (including Episode 1 and 2). I just re-played them a few weeks ago and I pretty much enjoyed them again. I know that I can't re-play these annually (hell maybe ever four years is okay)...and I actually only re-played them again because I just remember the Portal 2 puzzles to well.
  • Mass Effect 2 (my favourite from the series). Probably not quite old enough to qualify but I still love playing through it every year or two.
  • Unreal 2004. Actually been playing quite a bit of it recently with my GF and brother...they generally don't like deathmatch modes so we play a lot of Invasion with tweaked waves and some custom maps.
  • Currently re-playing Manhunt again (finished it back in the day on Playstation 2...giving it a run through on PC this time with my brothers copy). A little annoying in the beginning (well more so than I originally remember) but at least now I have guns again - stupid fun really but I'm loving it.
  • Theme Park Hospital. Ah...inflating peoples heads just never gets old.

This list isn't complete without mentioning some of the games that I've tried to play again but most likely just ruined my memories of having played it through the first time many years back:
  • Interstate '76. Sorry but it really hasn't aged well so I just scraped through the training missions and then gave up.
  • SWAT 4. I think the game had gotten old...no I lie. I actually just seem to suck more now than ever...tried it for the first time in co-op and we got through some of the levels but we also got our butts kicked.
  • Far Cry. Okay this is just added so that I don't make a wall of text...I actually want to re-play it again (because I remember it being AWESOME) but I just can't find my disc (so that Far Cry compilation had better come soon!).
  • More to work through but I just can't remember them all now...will have to check my GoG library.

Once in a while I play my old Gamecube games on my Wii and other old Pokemon games and they are still as fun as I remember :D.

Wish I could say same about newer games...

One thing that I am trying to get my hands on is Final Fantasy Tactics. Man, once you figured that game out, it was amazing. Can't seem to find it, though.

EDIT: You can buy Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on the PSN store. This is basically just an improved version of Final Fantasy Tactics.

I still play cod4 religiously and even enjoy paying it at lans playing mods, etc.

Rank 55 at least 6 times and finally wasted my time getting the gold guns xD

Once in a while I also been enjoying Starcraft 1 and Diablo 1 & 2, very fun still :D.

I'm worried that if I go back to Diablo II from Diablo III then it will spoil my fond memories of Diablo II. Is it still so awesome even after you played Diablo III?
