The MyGaming eRepublik Thread

We are just too outnumbered. Take florida for example. Over 5000 ppl in that state alone. How many eSA ppl are there atm? 100? 200?

Resistance wars are different to normal wars where by your soldiers have to be in that region to attack it or defend it. We simply don't have enough players to beat them and they outnumber us heavily. We also can't afford to ship our allies to the region to fight for us and at the same time, our allies are fighting their own battles and concentrating their fights elsewhere. A lot of people share your idea that we copped out but we didn't really have any other options.

But if we are patient now for a while and concentrate on getting thing like recruiting as much as possible, building up multiple organisations containing multiple companies, stockpiling gold, etc ... we could eventually start a worthwhile resistance, no?

Just askin' is all. Who did you fight for to get to lieutenant? eIndonesia?
.... Oh, now I get ya. Yeah, most rank was from fighting the Indo's and now that I'm in Indo territory, I fight in multiple wars so as to do as little damage to the Indo's enemies as possible ;)

awesome :D I should reach level 5 with some luck tomm, so when that time comes around. I'll ask for some advice on where to fight etc :)

Regarding eSA ppl, would it not be better for us all to concentrate in one place/province first and retake the country etc.. or is that too much to ask? I know you need moving tickets etc too...

That is kinda what I was planning .... get as many people as possible to the Western Cape and then, when the time is right, we have more soldiers in place.

We only have 1 province to stay in for now anyway, Limpopo :) I think we'll be getting the Free State back relatively soon though.

*edit*

misread post, but even if we get enough people into a conqored region, Brazilian/Indo intelligence will pick up extraordinary number of people moving to their countries. We'd also need a @#%@#%@ amount of people to try take them, and I still don't think it's possible :)

I would like to see that link how we got Limpopo back if you manage to find it sometime :)
They prob extorting gold, diamonds from us to get everything back

So fight their intelligence then ...... pull the wool over their eyes so they don't get wind of anything. We move people into one area over a time and hold off on any resistance, help them in their fights, etc, how are they gonna pick up much?

I managed to find the contract, it's at http://www.erepublik.com/en/forum/t...ca-and-ebrazil-for-the-return-of-one-region/1

1. This is a contract involving:

1.1. South Africa, represented by its representative Ines Schumacher (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1337359).

1.2. The organization Reserve Bank of South Africa (http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1214517), represented by it's governor Gabriel Borien (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1286699), and furtherly referred to as RBSA, as the organization from where South Africa shall make payments or pay for penalties.

1.3. Brazil, represented by its President Junecaz (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/439192).

1.4. The organization Controle Nacional (http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1208385), represented by it's manager Junecaz (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/439192), and furtherly referred as Bank of Brazil, as the organization from where Brazil shall make payments or pay for penalties.

1.5. The contract will become valid when all citizens stated in points 1.1., 1.2., 1.3. and 1.4. sign it.

II - Procedure

2.2. If resistance war in point 2.1. fails, this meaning the region being secured by Brazil, within 24 hours after the battle ends Bank of Brazil will donate to RBSA an amount of gold equal to the cost of the Resistance War in Limpopo.

2.3. Within 24 hours after receiving Gold as stated in point 2.2., South Africa will start another Resistance War in Limpopo.

3. Within 24 hours after Limpopo is taken by South Africa, RBSA will donate to Bank of Brazil the amount of 150 Gold.

4. Within 24 hours after payment in point 3. is received, Brazil will propose a Mutual Protection Pact to South Africa.

5. If MPP referred in point 4. is not accepted by either country's congress, the party whose congress rejected the MPP will pay to the other party the amount of 200 Gold to be transferred to its bank (1.2. or 1.4.).

5.1. If the MPP cannot be accepted by South Africa due to no congress members being in place depending on game mechanics, 5. is invalid.

5.2. If MPP is rejected by South Africa due to game mechanics elaborated on in 5.1. Brazil will propose an MPP on day 625 when the new president has been elected.

5.3. Neither party may declare war on the other for the period of 4 months starting the moment this contract is valid.

6. The MPP will be renewed every month between South Africa and Brazil for the period of 4 months with each party covering its own costs.

7. South Africa undertakes to buy Free State off Brazil within 3 months of the signing of this agreement for 120 gold.

III - Penalties

How many ppl do you think we will need MH?

Whoa, now you're asking :o

ATM, the WC has 1060 people ..... if we could get to 2000 within a few months and have anything over 60% of that population sleeper S. Africans, we might stand a chance no?

(not forgetting that we need the majority of them to be of high fighting caliber and a healthy backup of gold and companies)

That's 1k in SA players! The questions are; do we currently have 1k in active players and if not, how do we go about getting that 1k+ recruited, train them up (I saw a PEACE hero do 16k damage in NY yesterday!) and fund them.

So it is a mammoth task but I think you have the right attitude. We will have to start somewhere and perhaps infiltration is not a bad idea.

On the other hand (Darren :D ), perhaps we should consolidate and try get Limpopo up. Work with what we have and try build the infrastructure there instead of supporting the opposition (which we would have to do as sleepers).

Lots to think but more importantly, lots more to learn!

+1 on there being so much more to learn :D

To be honest, I think the Limpopo thing was done wrong and I see no way of supporting it .... I mean, the taxes are sky high, people are jobless .... what is going for Limpopo = nothing :o

Yeah it's a mammoth task but I reckon with a core of determined bastids like us, it is eventually possible :D

The reason taxes are high and people are jobless is because of our enemy. We cannot change this until a congress is voted in, after which they can then vote to change taxes and minimum wage. At the moment, we have a president and no congress. A lot of foreigners are writing BS articles on how the SA government is screwing its citizens. This is not the case, it's just we cannot change anything until we have a congress.

Ok ....... so when is this happening? I'm all for supporting Limpopo but I need to see that a real effort is being made to be 100% free of all occupier interest. Deals and whatnot make me skeptical but I'm all for being proven wrong ;)

You should join the eSA forum; it details all our plans, programs, etc to get this going.

Me and erm, my cousins, will be moving to SA once I have enough gold and experience. I am currently dirt poor but gaining great experience fighting, and I could have had a higher military rank had I just stayed in occupied PEACE territory (not too mention richer too).
