and why are we NOT allowed to use "WE" in reference to a club we support? I use "WE" when speaking of a South African team. i think its perfectly natural to emphasise the support which we (no pun intended) lay behind OUR club ;)
 
If you are an SA citizen, you are obliged to say WE when referring to an SA sports team. You cant do the same for a foreign football club.

i'm afraid we shall have to agree to disagree. i have been an ardent United fan for well over 20 years now and will continue to feel the pain of their losses just as closely as any UK-born Manchunian

9 out of 10 times it will be exalted MANU fans who speak of THEIR team. Much like Michael Shumacher fans who spoke of him as though he was part of their family. Deluded.

I will have to disagree there mate. Chelsea has an excellent team. The title will likely learn towards City only because of the sheer amount of squad depth they command (and can afford :p)

Some hostility here from the new people i see :D well like i said earlier i'm a Man U fan, always have always will. Been supporting them for 28 years so i consider my self a true fan and i for one will miss Sir Alex :(, My fav players were/are Ruud van Nistelrooy/ Ryan Giggs and Robin van Persie

I was never a beckham fan and never will be i thought he played to much for the attention and to see what he could put his name to to get more money he didn't play for the love of the game. yes he was good but i never liked him...........And Cantona :D what a player
 
okay gents, whats the predictions for tonight? I reckon City gonna win. and by at least 2 clear goals. they are just looking too strong this season and are BANGING in the goals !
 
i'm a city supporter seeing as they from the same districts as Man U but i think chelsea is starting to wake up i hop city wins but i see a 2-1 to the blues
