Go to your user CP (control panel), on the left side, find General Settings, under Messaging and Notification you'll find Default Thread Subscription Mode, change that mode to "Do not subscribe" or "through my control panel only"

I think by now everyone in the TK has mentioned this at least once in their TK lifetime, but I'll repeat it, there is a huge misconception about what happens in the TK, it may contain spam, but it is not a dedicated spam thread. Some of us get advice from this thread, recount interesting stories, talk about gaming sessions, we rant about all sorts of things (geek-related or not), sometimes we get quick opinions on games from members we've gotten to know (I learnt about Mass Effect in the 2nd or 3rd iteration of TK, and I tried to get people to play Fall of Cybertron... I failed :o).

We organize mygaming meet and greets (we had one @ rAge, one @syconoobs place, and Wyv organizes her very own), the list of community building activity goes on. So essentially, this IMO, is an important thread, even if it may not seem that way at face value, and to exclude it would not be done in good faith, and James has pretty much said this, apart from the fact he actually can't exclude a single thread. On top of that, the top lists are comprised of some TK members and other forum members, it's never a TK infested (for lack of a better word) list.

I bought War for Cybertron if that counts.

Spaghetti for dinner, movie lined up and new avatar chosen for the month of love.

Seeya later!

Evening folks!

So CPT is back in my bad books. Heat stroke on Friday and having to drive both ways on my own. TK VIII has died and I'm on the back foot for the new comp.

When you look real hard, you'll find that CPT is the root of the problem.
