Comic Books

You can actually buy comics through comixology, or DC and Marvel apps. They really are great. Interfaces are outstanding, and actually makes you feel like you have a collection.

Mmm, you're right. That's actually crazy

Does Dark Horse have an App?

Yeah, but it is horrible. I avoid that app and get Dark Horse's book physically.

There are so many names that I like in the credits of this book. So you've got two now? "whistling:

In case you were wondering, you 2 actually live in the same area... Just saying "whistling:

Anyway, I'm curious since you've recommended I read Superman Unchained, how does it compare to the current Superman, is there anything that sets it apart?

@Snare, this question applies to you as well, since you hate it but love the current Superman.

I've really been slacking on my comic reading though

I couldn't get into the current Superman, I wasn't really a Lobdell fan when the New52 hit. What set Unchained apart was the epic creative team of Snyder and Lee that was driving it. Unfortunately, I think it ends in April, or something like that.

Snare and I live in the same area? There seem to be a lot of us in the PTA East area, then.

I actually gave up on unchained after 3 issues. All it felt like was a hollywood port. Seems Snyder can actually churn out some bad writing. Or was it Jim Lee over his shoulder?

Who knows, could have gotten better since then.

I thought it was pretty good. I felt that it was the Superman book that DC should have been putting out from the start, instead of what was being released at the time.

I'll definitely check it out, Justice League is also keeping me busy :D

Well, roughly the same area :p, Snare and I both live in Centurion :D

Hmmm, do you like the current Superman? Because it seems like one either likes the current Superman or Unchained and not really both :?

Dude, the highway makes Centurion and PTA East the same area. Yeah, it is pretty close. One day we'll do a thing.

We should :D

Honestly, I don't like either. Snyder has been my writer of choice ever since his unbelievable run on detective comics. But I just cannot seem to enjoy him on unchained. Only Superman I am enjoying lately is via the Justice League.
