Read up on the Fermi paradox. It basically says that there are theoretically billions of other planets that could support life that have stars billions of years older than our sun, so life would have evolved a long time ago. And some of these life forms would be intelligent and would have developed interstellar travel, so by now we should have had alien life visit us, if those statements are correct.

And what if they have? Governments cover shit up. And what if they just haven't reached us or just not interested in us?
Remember our theories evolve with time. A lot of stuff has been disproved that was thought to be right 50 years ago.

I have seen some shit in the skies before and it wasn't human either.

Yeah but theories are what we go on until they are proven/disproved.

And I'm pretty sure if alien life did come to earth they would probably be a lot more noticeable (flipping huge!).

Mass hysteria. And as for the ships stealth tech. And there was a triangle space craft witnessed by a shit load of people in arizona.

But there hasn't been much serious improvement in military tech, or at least not from what I've seen. You'd think if some government got their hands on this tech, they'd already be rulers of the world.

But life on earth needed perfect perfect conditions to begin and to be able to evolve. With all the different variables involved, the chance of that happening again would be extremely slim. Then again there are billions of other galaxies, so that's billions of possibilities of the right parameters for life being met.

Its not that easy to rule the world. And as for tech you don't know half of the shit they have developed already as terms of weapons top secret stuff. You have to win peoples hearts and minds to rule them. And with the internet its harder to control what people see.

But it would be easy to take control of the world's oil and all it's resources. Otherwise what would they secretly be doing with technology? Withholding potentially the greatest discovery ever just to make sure they win all their wars?

Not really there is a lot more to war than pure force. And yes its always been like that. You don't show your hand of cards in a card game to the other players do you? Have you seen the weapons they used in the iraq war? Shells that suck out all the air in an area.

That just sounds like a weapon that emits extremely high-frequency radiation waves, so it would destroy living cells. There's nothing that I've seen that seems like it is ahead of our regular technological and military progression.

Thats thing thing they have stuff none of us know about. You just can't use somethings due to it making the public angry.
I still believe that aliens exist the world isn't as black and white as everyone thinks. :p

I just think, if they have access to all this awesome weaponry, then surely they also have access to technology that could, say, eradicate all viruses or end all hunger? Or perhaps allow them to build a starship? :p

Now I'm not saying that there is no alien life, I don't believe any has visited the earth, and based on that, the chance of life being out there would drop immensely.

What if they don't want to end world hunger? With all the money they spend on Wars they could feed and clothe the world. Peace doesn't make money. And to be honest drug companies wouldn't make the amount of money they have if there was a cure for cancer or Hiv and aids. I am sure the elite have the cures themselves but thats going off topic :p

I don't know if they have come here I don't think I will ever know in my life time unless I get pretty high in the military ranks.

I don't know, that seems like a cynical view to me. You're essentially saying all people are greedy and would never want to help others if they could. With alien technology, who would need money anymore anyway? Presumably their tech could 3D print anything you wanted :p

ITs not about money really its about control and money controls the lower class.
When you have all the money in the world you get can afford what you want.

I'll just stay hopeful that if people ever get the power to end poverty/hunger/disease/etc. they would actually use it.
