dammit! all this Dark Souls chatter is making be consider starting from scratchbut on the other hand, if i can just hold out a few more weeks, i can rather dive into Dark Souls 2
decisions decisions....
I say pick up Dark Souls and get yourself into that Zone

hm...thats a superb point!
okay, so then onto the question of class. I am partial towards a ranged magic user, and played 41 hours as Pyro. but do you guys recommend a different class? perhaps i should try sorcerer ?

I'm not too fond of Sorcerers & Ranged chars. They seem to e weak for me. Especially if the enemies manage to get up close. I always end up going the offense/defense route with a warrior/knight. Slow and bulky, but can take a beating.

But you can often pick off a few enemies from far with ranged. Or at least Ping single enemy and get him to walk to you, then rinse and repeat

so I accidentally killed the merchant in undead burg and got some nice loot
Haha it's okay to kill him. There are however some NPC's you need to be very careful around otherwise you can end up making things very very difficult for yourself. Hint: Don't attack the blacksmiths!

I did this by mistake on my first playthrough. The Blacksmith near Sen's Fortress. Oh, and that NPC that tells you about the bells you need to ring in the beginning.

Blight Town is Shite Town on consoles like running in jam lol.Such a pity hopefully Dark Souls 2 does not have that problem.

I'm guessing you're referring to the framerate? Because yes, at certain camera angles my console is struggling

I have to grind undead burg tonight to level up. My new sword is slowing me down quite a bit. Then it's back to try and kill that god forsaken Taurus Demon
There's a special grinding spot later in the game
I think you score about 7 to 10k souls per run. And each run takes about 5 mins?What sword do you have?

Ja no I was talking about the frame rate I dont know how that passed QA tests in the development of the game.Still loved the game though but that sort of slow down is not acceptable ever.I'm guessing you're referring to the framerate? Because yes, at certain camera angles my console is struggling

Geez! I've always wondered where you get this Sword! Going to kill him right now
Do yourself a favor, get a bow and arrows, shoot off the Hellkite's tail to get the Dragon Sword. It will be a great help.

LOL funny enough, the merchant you killed sold Arrows. How many do you have left?
I used about 50 to get off its tail. Maybe more.
