Early access games thread

So I thought with all the cool games that are currently in alpha/beta with early access we should have a thread where people can let others know about them

I found another multiplayer pvp game where you build galleons, planes, submarines or hot air baloons.

It's called From The Depths
here's the alpha launch trailer

Iv actually bought that already, well i think it as like $5, but havent really played much of it, should have another look at it

So dayZ Lead dev will leave by the end of the year hope you lot are happy with the game how it is now.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...leave-bohemia-and-step-down-as-leader-of-dayz

Bohemia told me that it was aware of Hall's plans and this "did not come as a surprise". "Under the guidance of Dean, DayZ's development will continue to move full-steam ahead, and we're expecting to make a lot of progress this year - and in the year(s) after that of course," a spokesperson said.

The gaming community won't let him live if the game isn't finished lol

Max exodus on steam, People will demand a refund and he'll never sell another game in his life.

They can demand all they want if you have played hours of a game you will not be getting a refund since you knew what you where getting into when you buy early access games.

It's early access to a alpha game.. meaning there still needs loads of updates to become a real game.. even still needs to go into beta phase.

I found another game, don't know how many of you have heard of it but it looks very interesting. it an open world, RPG game that currently still in development calls Planet Explorers, check it out if you enjoy those kinds of games :)

Didnt want to create a new thread since one already existed.

Besiege @ STEAM

I just love games like this...just the early access thing....

Besiege is a physics based building game in which you construct medieval siege engines and lay waste to immense fortresses and peaceful hamlets. Build a machine which can crush windmills, wipe out battalions of brave soldiers and transport valuable resources, defending your creation against cannons

I don't see what the whole debacle is with buying (or wanting to buy) Early Access title is. You know exactly what you're getting into prior purchasing and then people still bitch on how buggy and shit their experience is and how they want a refund.

If anything I think Early Access is a good thing, at least for the developers who aren't part of the huge monstrosities of the likes of EA and so forth. The extra funding helps them, along with added input from the community through the development phase.

Any way, I've been jolling the following early access titles;
H1Z1
Stranded Deep
Rust (bought this on release)

Been thinking of buying The Long Dark too.

But yes, Besiege looks awesome.

No debacle or something melodramatic like that, speaking for myself, I like to buy a complete game, I don't like replaying the game with every major update (some updates voids the save games). Spoils the fun, makes it feel like a grind. Esp games with a story. But of course there are ppl that like doing that, so perfect for them.

People who bitch and complain about the quality of the game are just simpleminded. It comes hand in hand with early access.

But yeah, its awesome for devs with little or no money to start something. Just, a lot of Early Access on STEAM.

How is H1Z1? I'm eager to get into either Dayz or H1Z1, but from reviews both games (paid version of Dayz) looks a bit buggy? Also, the paid for drop crates from H1Z1 to get supplies, people seem unhappy about that.
