Yeah, you know it's bad when you start thinking of putting off plans or making excuses, just to play some moar.
The thing is I can feel I am SO close to finishing, I just want to finish it now!

Ah but you know what will happen, you will finish it then you will start thinking about all that stuff you missed, doors not opened and the next thing you know you are busy beating the last giant boss.

Yarrr... I don't want to finish it so that I'm done with it. I want to finish it to get to the end of the "story" and get all the lore info. Then start again in NG+ and find out more and go through it all.... over.... again :D

You could go watch the gameplay on YouTube dude. there is one famous youtuber/gamer called TheRadBrad. I think he is still playing this game right now.

Dark Souls 2 is undoubtedly the best game ever!! I wish I could go home now and play.

no question about it. the fact that, even after 90 hours, it still feels as fresh as the first hour, speaks volumes for its quality! it's just astonishing. no other game would be able to keep you engaged, despite often having to replay an area many times over.

And the fact that it was worth playing till 1am and getting into trouble with the missus this morning :p

niiice :) The guide is superb! quality is astonishing and the maps alone are worth the price of admission! i'm loving it.

So what do I do with all my boss souls? Use them to buy stuff to go into NG+?

use them to craft weapons at Straid or Ornifex. I know that some souls give diff weapons in NG+ (e.g. Dukes Dear Freja gives Moonlight Great Sword) but not sure if it works with her NG soul, of if you have to use NG+ soul. having said that, you gonna kill her again in NG+, so may as well spend this boss soul now on weapon, and get another weapon in NG+

I finally freed Straid... have to say the weapons are less than impressive. Beside the Dragonrider Shield, none of them were more useful than the Ultra Greatsword and Fire Longsword I picked up off the ground. :/

Perhaps in NG+ there will be more. Anyone know where I can BUY Titanite? Shards, Slabs, Large ones - the 10 that you get from the first blacksmith doesn't go very far.

the DragonRider BOW is quite good, as it does normal + magic damage. have not bothered with the rest of the weapons, other than to craft 4 of them in order to get the BLACK gear from Straid (just talk to him after spending 4 souls).

you will meet a Stone Trader at the beginning of Harvest Valley (keep talking to her and she relocates to Majula). Having said that, she also sells limits quantities until you progres sin the game and defeat additional bosses. also, the blacksmith in Lost Bastille will end up selling titanite. Ah, for whatever reason I've JUST started the Copse path after getting 3 of the other powerful souls. Didn't realize I could make that contraption work by talking to that chick in the Fire Tower.

I will definitely have to replay to squeeze all of the goodness out of Dark Souls 2. And yet... it doesn't feel as good as DS1 in some ways. Definitely improved in many ways, but... somethings missing - I can't quite place it.
