Greetings people.
i have the 1.2 hatch back. awesome car. you dont really feel the 1.2 engine unless you load the car with passengers or use the aircon on an incline. its quite lite on petrol as well and i use it in the city onlyhas anybody here got a KIA RIO? I am on the verge of buying one and would like to here some positive feedback to help assure me that its the right decision
other possible options :
Renault Clio 4 --> Apparently, engine is asthmatic, despite having a turbo. Its only 0.9L
Polo --> Good build quality but overpriced
Ford Fiesta --> Love the front, but I'm not keen on the back

/snip pic
When I just moved to the Freestate I went to visit my parents one weekend and I decided to take some non-highway routes. When I hit Vrede, a farmer was moving his cattle from one enclosure to another. They had to walk about 500m along the main road to get to the other enclosure, moving past me in the opposite direction. I drove an Opel Kadette at the time and when I saw the size of those animals I actually got scared in my vehicle. It was about 300 head of cattle boxing in my little car on both sides (I stopped dead in the road, letting them pass) and most of their heads were higher than my roof. On that day I vowed always to be careful driving back-roads because hitting that big a chunk of meat would be disastrous, to say the least.
Almost capped and time for a new life in DDO ....... makes me feel all
