I think that Atleti's ability to control the pace of a game is greater than Real's ability to exploit weaknesses at the back. Real has also had a few major lapses in defensive judgement this season that Gabi and Koke can exploit(looking at you Sergio Ramos :p). It will also be a big issue to try get past Courtois in the posts. However if they do not shut down Bale and Isco/Modric then a single mistake will be all that is required for an explosive counterattack. I predict a final score of 2 - 1 in favour of Atleti but it shall be a fantastic game regardless of score.



I'm a Chelsea supporter and that was probably the funniest moment of the entire season. No man on earth was sadder than Steven Gerrard at the end of final Matchday :D

Even though I'm a Man.U supporter I feel that Liverpool deserved the title through their exceptional football they've played this season but then again it just goes to show how one tiny lapse of concentration can go a long way.

I don't know, I think Uruguay have the advantage of being a squad with a lot of familiarity in terms of a settled team/manager, good solid squad players and a sprinkling of stars. I think the elders like Lugano and Forlan may struggle physically but their experience in top leagues and competitions will help a lot. I like the make up of their squad as well.

Outside chance that Brazil will struggle with the weight of expectation, I was quite keen on Colombia before Falcao's injury woes but they and Chile (If Sanchez and Vidal fire) could really give the bigger teams a real run for their money.

That was the best moment of Football this year, Oh Stevi G, he lost it for them. Chelsea also went and upset them big time after chelsea beat them and then went and lost.

My one friend is a LP supporter and I told him they wont win it, and they didnt hahahahahaha, Ive been cherping him ever since.

OMW guys just remembered its FA Cup Final tonight at 6PM, Ill be supporting ARSENAL for my 3 friends and Brothers sake, As my team MAN U sucked this season.

I will be supporting Hull so I can continue laughing at wengers 9 year barren streak. Plus, I would love to watch Piers Morgan self implode on Twitter!

Lol, yeah I want the Arsenal dry spell to continue. In other news I shall enjoy watching Atletico Madrid break the spanish monopoly tonight :D

I have a gut feeling that Hull is going to win in extra time.

I doubt atletico will clinch the league title 2day. Barce is gonna give it their all and when they do it results in mostly wins.

But I do want Atletico to win the CL though...

Well all that Atleti have to do is NOT lose whereas Barca have to win. I think that if Atletico WIN against Barca today it will give them enough confidence to beat Real as well. However if they lose the game ,(and consequently the title), they might not be able to take Real . So it's either a double or nothing I think.
 
Guys omw Arsenal won I cant believe it, from 2-0 down to win 3-2 and Alt Beat Barca in the La liga cup. a draw for them saw them win the title. but Alt got nothing on Real next weekend, time will tell.

Real Madrid for the win, Champions !!!!

Question, Did anyone see the Sharks? OMW what a game.
 
well, fair play to the gunners. to come from 2 goals down to win a cup final is pretty impressive. at long last, their drought has ended :D

I dont think Alt could beat Real in the Final of CL, I think Real want the CL more than Alt, and Alt might not have Costa.

Well done Arsenal. Now 9 years of jokes have come to an end :( . Real want it to ensure some added silverware for the season whereas Atleti want their 1st double and 1st UEFA win in history...I think that Atletico want it more hey. They also will have some rolling momentum from winning La Liga

Definitely! Did you see how well they pressurized Barce towards the end of the first half and carried that momentum into the 2nd half was pretty impressive. And once they got their goal, they ensured that they kept it that way till the end.

So I predict Atletico to push early on for a goal and just defend it till the whistle against Real.

i don't think it will be possible to defend for a large portion of the game against the likes of Ronaldo and Bale. They just have way too much pace and skill. Atletico best chance will be to setup side to counter-attack and hope that Real over-commit going forward

We will just have to wait and see what happens on Saturaday :D

I think Ronaldo will play out of his skin and Bale. Lets hope Modric is playing because he is dangerous on the ball.

Alt will put in a good fight, specially since the last time they won the LL and CL cups was when the coach was a player for the club.

Im Shouting REAL MADRID. but know its not going to be an easy game

It might one of those games that goes all the way to penalties; although Madrid has a better record against Atleti than vise versa.
