Dark Souls 2 Thread

NG+ is a whole different kettle of fish. Much the same, just added red phantoms, and man do they hit hard!
 
i also need to finish Dark Chasm levels and then hit NG+

But i have ben sidetracked by the EXQUISITE "Tomb Raider". I played on XBOX last year but grabbed on PC and it looks obscenely gorgeous on PC! defiantely my choice for GOTY 2013 :)
 
Where's the best place to farm Titanite Chunks/Slabs ?

... and I just defeated Duke's Dear Freja last night and on my way to Drangleic Castle (of course NG+).

Belfry Sol, join the bell keepers covenant. If you vanquish a trespasser you get titanite chunk
 
Got the game yesterday. I am fighting the last gaint. He fell over is that normal :p

I have the fire sword and that knights sword.

Yes, it's one of his attacks. I just hope you're enjoying it.

A mate at work has also just started playing it, I'm going on close to 200 hours.

Hahaha.... Dude! That's like the first boss! If you are a melee build stay under and between his legs. Try use fire as well will help. Summon Pate, he's a tank!

hahah yeah I gathered that :p I end up doing stupid things just need to get used to the controls using mouse and keyboard.

Oh right, sorry can't help you there.

But one of the biggest things in any Souls games, DON'T GET GREADY! Take your time, learn their move set and be patient.

Yeah I know :p My main problem are the controls. I did find a guy who gave me his key to the manor by the town.
I have a fire sword for the giant. I would like to invest in that ring that reduces fall damage is that worth it?

Around 15000 souls, it is a damn good ring, it's main purpose is for the pit and everything below. I wouldn't suggest getting it just yet though. Rather spend that amount to level up. Or better yet, upgrade weapons and armor!

I agree :p you know those knights that get dropped they killed me and they dissapeared and never came back :-/

No that's the Persuer. Another boss, you'll meet him again later. That first encounter is the ONLY time that he'll come to you.
