I pledged... (✯) Citizen. Enlist now!

If that is the case then I am really pissed, the game sold itself to me as a PVE game. Now it sounds like Eve with prettier graphics.

Damn it.

I'm not sure what the issue is. You will always have the option of playing Squadron 42 (SP campaign), or playing it co-op, or hosting your own server and playing true-PVE with friends. But there will be systems that are so policed that people won't be able to just attack you without being annihilated.

It sold itself on both tbh.if you have been reading or watching. There are many aspects they have catered for.

No risk, no reward...Staying in policed systems the risk of being killed will be low but your profits will be lower too.
If you want to make bigger profits you have to go to more dangerous areas. But you can hire mercenaries to protect you(NPC or players).

Otherwise as stated you can host your own server, but i imagine that could be quite boring.
Without players stimulating the economy i imagine prices will just always stay the same and it will just feel very plastic

What's that? I hope they allow us to fly, or at least see the outside of the hangar.

Yes exactly that.

It is the dogfighting module, so you will be able to fly around in one of five or so ships. I think the first batch is single-player scenarios only, but probably within a few weeks we should be able to battle against one another in space :D

Awesome, single player is all I care about anyway.

The MP is rolling out immediately, but it's a staggered release according to when you pledged.

Let me begin with the information you most want to hear: we intend to launch Arena Commander in two weeks, on May 29th.The goal is that every backer will have access to the single player “Free Flight” and “Vanduul Swarm” games modes on this day, and the very first batch of multiplayer testers will get access to the game’s multiplayer game modes.
