Steam Summer Sale 2014 - What You Gonna Buy!

I'm really not very impressed with all these unfinished games going on sale. So far I haven't bought anything, and I have over $32 in my Steam wallet, just waiting for something decent (that's actually done).

Edit: Right now there at least EIGHT early access games on sale, between the daily deals and flash and community choice sales.

I also noticed a curiously high number of "Early Access" games on sale. Having said that, my only purchase has been the early access title Divinity! And that was YOUR fault for pointing out its brilliance :)

Well to be fair, it IS brilliant, and it actually has a release date :D

wow! yet more Early Access titles. and yet another rather "meh" set of deals :(

I disagree with you. Compared to yesterday and the day before, there is only one Early Access game today. Most games are discounted at 75% off or more.

Those prices are pretty good if you don't own any of those games, maybe it's because you already own most of them :p

Must say today's specials look grate.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning $4.99
Tomb Raider $4.99
Borderlands 2 $4.99
Sleeping Dogs $3.99

For just R200 you can have hours of fun and some really good A rate titels if you don't own some of them allready.

Playing Kingdoms of Amalur this weekend (Bought it some time ago) and its worth full price nevermind sale price, Oh and if you buy the steam game you get an CD-Key you can redeam on Origin as well. <- hint hint.

you are right, i guess its all a matter of Perspective :) I have already played all 4 of these (superb) games on XBOX, hence the disappointment from my side :) I clocked Tomb Raider on XBOX and loved it so much that i bought it for $7.50 a while back and loved it all over again on PC.

Having said that, i never got around to finishing KOA on xbox as i kept getting side-tracked by the arb side missions. i wonder if its worth a second chance on PC ?

Well, yet 2 more purchases for me with only 1 not being on my wishlist: Borderlands 2 Season Pass and Metro: Last Light. So 4 games in total so far... Paid for most of them with profits from selling cards. :D

Depends did you have the DLC'S on Xbox?

You could always try playing with a different class than what you used before.

At the end of the sale we must do a report back on what we bought.

anyway I just got amallur Reckoning. Played first area on 360 but got annoyed with side quests. Still for that amount of money-bought.

Tomb Raider has peaked my interest. Haven't decided yet, but it is priced where I feel it's value for money.

A recommendation from my side, everyone should get Sleeping Dogs at that price. Watch_Dogs is getting a lot of attention right now, but by buying Sleeping Dogs, you're getting (in my opinion) a better graphically looking game, a way better art style and a good PC version.

Oh, and does Watch_Dogs have Pork Buns? No? Thought so :D Buy Sleeping Dogs, then maybe Square Enix will give us Sleeping Dogs 2.
