You can always just buy it with $ or with credits on the marketplace (all the frames can be bought there under "reusable items" i believe). You can convert crystite into credits for the market place . I think the frames were about 3000 - 5000 credits (i think 10k crystite is +- 500 credits).

Although admittedly i still prefer the Bastion playstyle . The biggest killer for me on my Recluse is being focus fired and in most solo situations you are focused all the time (Second biggest killer on my recluse: Myself while running through my own poison clouds). So you are forced to load up on perks that heal while doing the equivalent of "bunny hopping" (jetpacking into the air, raining down poison from the air) and hope for the best. So Recluse is in a way alot of fun t as you are VERY mobile (you are forced to fly around).

My Mammoth/Dreadnaught is like total opposite , can stand like a tank and take the shots , but i don't have all the perks for the HP buffs to take it all (not yet) , so once you are taking too many shots it's tricky to get out.

My Bastion on the other hand, the turrets always pulls aggro , so in any focus fire situation i can actually avoid alot of shots while my turrets are up. If only the turrets weren't so weak , but i'm looking into adjusting my loadouts and perks to help with possible buffs, will see.

Expensive I would say! i have been delving into the game thus far and I love every second of it. I just find it hard to play without being in a clan or "army" as such and to play, well, basically alone. I ranked up to level 15 with my Dreadnought last night but i think i will play a bit biotech this weekend as it is +25% xp on biotechs this weekend. Two other frames that looks good and I think will fit my playstyle a bit more is firstly the FireCat and also the Arsenal frame.

I only find thumping a little bit difficult as I never seem to find the big deposits (except for monday night just north of Northern Shores. I researched up to my first squad thumper (must gather now crystite to craft one though). and i got a 7 day lgv use which is quite cool. Where would the best place to thump be? or how to look for the big deposits? I know how to use the scan hammer and then look for the flowing circles and go closer to the main vein (umm... for want of a better word, lol).

Well most here are in the GrimZA army (Grim Wolves) , can always apply and join. It isn't extremely active, just the odd 3-4 players playing very randomly. Alternately you are aware of the Army Terminals where you can search and apply for Armies (you can see how many players they have, what kind of players they want etc).


As for Thumping in the first area, i've also noticed it's difficult to find a good amount of deposits. I've seen good quantites around Northern Shores. Also right against the Melding (the big purple cloud walls where you die if you go into it) you tend to find good deposits too. However thumping close to the Melding attracts the Chosen (they will come straight out of the melding and attack you ). The other night a group of us thumped near thumpdump and on the 2nd thumper we attracted like a horde of chosen...was exciting though hehe.

Also remember you need different thumpers to extract different materials. So you need to upgrade/craft better thumpers to extract anything past the default Iron deposits etc.

Add Humility to your in game friend list. I will gladly come help you out thumping wherever you want to put up a squad thumper. I have a range of thumpers from P1-P3 and S1-S3 and will set them up for you as well and help out. Any help you need with missions etc or just want company to run Ares or job boards, let me know. I do not like soloing this game unless I have to, playing with friends is SO much more satisfying. I have a range of frames at various levels (although lacking at the 30-38) end of the scale just so I can join in with people.

Last night I managed to get into 2 raids and what a farce it was, I could have spent my time and had much more fun grouping up with fellow South Africans. I have found 2 other South Africans other than Diabolus and the infrequent army members we know of that play.

My current aim is to play with friends as much as possible, it REALLY is a lot more fun.

Awesome stuff. i have a buddy playing as well (Keallach) and I will DEFINITELY invite you guys tonite! I applied in-game to the Grim Wolves but withdrew as I did not see any activity as such but I will apply also on the Grim Wolves site if you will have me (us).

Hi, no my IGN is silvertemplar . Between myself,reavs,shrike we can invite into the guild, so no problems there, although i have not seen our guildmaster in ages.

Don't think i'm in the guild. I'm not even sure that i'm still in the D3 clan. Blackswan probably kicked me out by now.
 
Hi guys. FYI I don't do any kicking out! The only time we kicked people out is when we were active in FireFall in the BETA and needed to make space for new active members. There were peeps who hadn't logged for decades, so we had to make room for active players. I was unaware that Vahlor and I were the only people who could invite, so I'll DL FireFall tonight and, if you are still keen, throw you an invite! Apologies for not seeing this post sooner. FYI the main issue we've had is some members struggling with the massive download. We actually wanted to organise a weekend where we all come on and play (like we did previously).

HUH!? Kicked out of where!? I haven't even logged into Diablo since just after RoS was released. And I haven't logged into FireFall since the BETA, so it couldn't have been me.
 
Well reavs, we can invite you to the GrimZA guild in Firefall anyway :) . I doubt anyone was kicked out of the Firefall guild , it was never active enough during beta to warrant any kicking. Most likely no one was online to approve or invite people that tried to join.
 
2 Gig patch this morning, ouch. Massive amount of fixes, changes, additional events. Will take me a day or so to download ;-(
