I find Trivium just a carbon copy of metallica. You must try and find entombed. That is a really awesome band.
Left my guitar in Grahamstown though... that's two weeks without it Been listening to lots of Trivium lately though and can't wait to learn a few of their's when I get back
Well Maybe the lessons would come in handy. my other guitarist band mate is teaching me all sorts of thoery(he knows allot and he knows jazz and that is by far the most difficult stuff to learn).
Never give up and always practise.
I've never been for lessons before.... Thought it would be cheaper to teach myself, obviously, and I'd also go at my own pace... Just wish I knew more music theory.
Mastering it is hard especially when you are learning it on your own and you have never had help:-/
I am trying to master solo's but I seem to only be able to play slayers solos. I started when I was 17 and know I am 21 and still going I will never give it up.
"Back in the Day" meaning about, um, about three years ago? Seems like a long time ago for me because I was still in school I've only been playing guitar for... I think it's four years now. It was easy at first but it's mastering it that's hard.

I actually don't like guitar hero(I suck at it) And the guitar war All I need to do is play war ensemble and I will have it in the bag Thrash metal ftw My drummer has FTW! tattooed on his arm. My whole band are nerds(expect our singer) But I am the youngest out of them all they are in there late 20s and 2 of them are 30-31.
Surprisingly enough though, I've found Guitar Hero to be a lot harder than actual guitar playing...
Guitar war? Isn't that what guitar hero is for? *sigh* I fail so epically at guitar hero. It makes me a sad amphibian.

I still buy NAG, but I do agree that they're really not what they once were. It's like they think that the positions they have entitle them to be complete douche bags to other people. But anyway. Lol, we should all have a guitar war... you'd win though out of all of us though
Chris is a very good guy. He does live lessons over a web cam. And my other hero is kerry king and he is very nice guy as well. Well every one from nag are a bunch of morons. That magizine is not even well written any more:-/ Azi thinks she knows every thing and she plays guitar(I still think I am a better guitarist than her)
