Yup - it was great. The relationship tie-up at the end of TSR seemed pretty final to me - but like I said, it's been a while - so I'm probably forgetting something.

That being said, I've been thinking about giving the series a rewatch now that I've got it on DVD Need to track down the novels again as well.

Yup - I would've rated it above the first season if there was more of it. Plot/character development was awesome

Hmmm, I kinda doubt it - from what I remember of both the anime and the light-novel endings - the anime actually followed the novels pretty well for the most part. Mind you, my memory's a little fuzzy, it's been a while since I read them - and it looks like 2 new novels were released last year.

There's a parallel series of light novels that focuses on the comedy aspect of the series.

Frankly - I'd love to see more FMP as well - although after TSR I've got my doubts that the relationships are going to change much, which is a pity - it added a lot of additional tension to the series.

Hmmm ... I'll see what else I can scare up for you, but so far I don't think I've found another anime that blends sci-fi, action, comedy and bloody awesome characters together as well as FMP did.

Actually, you may want to give Kiddy Grade a try. Sounds dodge, I know, but it isn't. You can trust me on that. Very twisty plot though, but worth a watch. Awesome animation quality too.
