No really. I pre-ordered ages ago, bought a second copy before my pre-order arrived even, and guess what? SP is flippen awesoem but MP?

Same old flashbang crappy cod kiddies that used to play cod4 is still here. Same feel of MW2 (which isn't necessarily a bad thing but why do this feel so backwards after i played BF3. Wow this coming from me the biggest COD fan alive. Why couldn't they just uprate COD4's graphics. Why bugger it up like this. Ek huil sommer......

Dude, I really meaning this with all due respect. . . . . . But wtf did you expect? :p

Its not BF3, its not meant to be like BF3, its COD, the same COD as the previous versions. I have no doubt in my mind that it will be the same if not similar to MW2 - Black Ops, but there are upgrades, changes, enhancements etc.
 
Activision said its a sequel to mw2 ... same everything just diff things to blow up , so why the rage if you knew ?
 
Maybe i am a idiot for thinking a developer who makes tonnes of money from us the customer, will actually ask the people that buy their stuff, what we want in a game. No really, why bugger it up again?

I think it's been pretty clear for a while now that this was only going to be a mild iteration to get you to part with your $100+ (including map packs).

For some people they love the formula so that works out just fine for them but others expecting innovation will be left out in the cold.
 
Wasnt planning on buying this, watched the review on gametrailers.com and that just confirmed that NOT getting it was/is the right choice. I already paid for MW1 & 2, I'm not forking out a 3rd time for an identical MP experience. I'll be sticking to BF3 & Halo
 
I was going to buy it when the price goes under R100 but i guess i'll wait for the next Cod game.Can't wait to buy BF3 when i have a good enough PC.

Is there a 64bit-linux version that will run BF3? (I don't want to buy windows7)

I managed to play now for an hour or so and I am loving it!!
The multiplayer feels so much like cod 4 and even the normal(non HC) games are awesome.
The choice of weapons are fantastic and I love the weapon lvl system.

It might not have uber graphics but it has awesome game play and that's what matters most with Online fps games.
So enjoy the fast paced action :D

If Activision made MW3 with only the SP for 3rd of the price I would buy it (simply just to seee how it ends!!.. Wait I will just look it up on you tube!!) , after reading some reviews I am not very interested in the MP aspect at all.
 
It's the Final Chapter in the Modern Warfare series what did you expect, when they started making the game they said that they will be making it like MW2 with a bit of COD 4 in it.

Same things going to happen with every COD launch, people are gonna bitch and moan about it, then move on and eventually still carry on playing it.

COD4 is the most popular online game besides BF3 and possible MW3 now ;) There were 40+ COD4 clans playing in the last leg of Do Gaming League
 
I was also the biggest COD fan but they could have called this an expansion and be done with it. The dedicated servers are not ranked which is also kak. It is so stupid that you cant choose servers you want to play on. Is it all p2p again? WTF? Last time i will pre order a COD. Will first wait for the reviews. I think they also know that this will be the last time the will be able to use this cash cow. Stupid stupid game. BF3 now! :D
