MW3? Don't buy this crap.....

I stand by my opinion. If you are a "true" COD4 fan, please for God's sake, don't buy anything from Actishit. And yes i knew it would be in the line of MW2 (which i enjoyed when the p2p crap worked - wasn't very often) but this feels like a carbon copy with extra maps.
I respect all of your opinions as people want different things from games BUT really this is sacrilege for me. How could they? To be totally honest, i thought to myself this weekend that i won't be playing BF3 much - maybe 1 or 2 games a night with clan mates every night, just MW3. En raai wat, ek sal mw3 so af en toe speel, want dit het my R500 gekos. Al rede.

BF3 and MW3 are 2 very different games, VERY DIFFERENT
u shouldnt be comparing them under the same light
MW3, is similar to MW2, which u guessed it is similar to MW1. The common demoninator is they all from the same series, what were u expecting?
The game is just how i like it, fast, insane and carnage everywhere and the games end in under 15minutes. Arcade action, in and out.
from what iv been told BF3 is a frikken amazing game and im sure when i buy it im gonna loose many hours with it.
I take gameplay/fun factor over most things. So does it bother me that there arent ground breaking new *insert random game feature*, not at all. They have kept the element of MW and what made that game fun in MW3 and im a happy panda.
The game is fun

The maps are awesome
The tubing... yes well... lol

Sheesh, you would swear you spent your kids school fee's on this game or something and have nothing left. How can you think its that bad, its beyond me? Did you jam some MP and just get smoked all the time? Something must've happened...coz your reaction has changed remarkably for someone who just a couple of days ago was sounding quite positive about it. You can't surely have thought you were going to get BF3 graphics with COD gameplay? We all knew what to expect in the broad sense.
Each to their own I guess. Just saying?

I totally agree with you here. What they should have done is use Black Ops as a Back bone with regards to the Multiplayer. That works now. It did not work in the beginning but all is good now. I knew it was going to be the same old graphics and i can live with that but why not use proper servers. BF3 and MW3 are two different games and cant really compare other than the fact that they are both FPS. Game play is different etc etc. I just hope they fix the problems with a future patch!

I got to admit the p2p system isnt my favourite and my biggest gripe is ppl with shitty connections and randomly having to find a new host and the game bombs...
But at least there are dedicated servers for comp play (if that kicks off)

You guys really dont get it ... Acitvision dont really care about the minority , I net in Eu and America is nothing less than amazing . That system worked for them in Mw2 so why not use it again . As far as i know its only the minority that is bitching about the system

Don't know how it could work as well as dedicated servers? You cant select the maps you want. You get a vote. WTF is that? Eg. If i only want to play Nuke Town then i play that server. If i wanna play HC then i choose those servers. MW3 is stupid in that way. The gameplay is going to be awesome if i can play without lag. I have no idea why i have so much lag. I have a 6mb/s line Afrihost is my ISP. I have no problems when it comes to BF3 now. When you i select servers as well i select them sometimes according to the Ping i get. If it is too high i dont play. P2P you cant do that. Very stupid.
