So there seem to be lots of people interested in custom built pc's but don't know where to start or what to do when building their own pcs.
I will be building my new pc as i get the parts and keeping everyone here up to date.
I am building a rig with a mixture of new and second hand parts.
This will also be my very first custom water cooling loop. So stressing a bit about that. But hey... whats the worst that can happenWhile I wait for my GPU to arrive I will be doing flexible tubing. But when GPU arrives I will do a hard tubing loop.
These are the components going into the rig
Case: NZXT Razer S340
Power Supply: Seasonic 750W Gold
Drives: 1 x 128gb ssd , 1 x 240gb ssd , 1 x 500gb hdd
GPU: GALAX GTX 1080 Hall of Fame
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X Ultra Gaming
CPU: Intel 6700K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600MHZ 2x8GB
Cooling:Custom water loop including 1 x 240 rad. EK-XRES 100 DDC MX 3.2 PWM (incl. pump). XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock (Intel)
Fans: More than enough =D
Cables: Custom Braided Cables by Beyond Customs
I think that is all.
I started putting everything together last night. Will be using the stock cpu cooler while I get all the correct fitting and tubes for the water cooling. So bare with me while it looks messy. lighting will also be changed when everything is done.
Bought a whole loop that I am going to dismantle for parts that I will need with my new Res, pump and cpu block
I always like to start with the cabling first. So here is the case, psu and cables ready to go.
Mobo and cpu are in.

While I wait for my GPU to arrive I will be doing flexible tubing. But when GPU arrives I will do a hard tubing loop.
