6 December Xbox update

Just updated. Was quick and painless ;)
Preferring this look to the previous dashboard.

I still miss the first dashboard though :D
 
as a ux designer i have to say the new is an amazing improvement. it will take a bit of getting used to bt it is a lot better. i wish someone would write an article on the xbox dashboard evolution.
 
One of the features is "Better Facebook Integration". I have the same Facebook App that I had on the old Dashboard with the same options.

So am I correct to assume that this feature is not available for our country?

No I think the FB thing it to post purchases or achievements on FB. Similarly the Beacons work with Facebook AFAIK.
 
Anybody notice the adds being pushed through, just got a intel add on the dashboard.

The most I've managed to do so far is download the update. Hopefully one of these days I'll have a bit of time to spend with my xbox and check it out. At the moment, that's looking like some time next year though. Sigh

The Kinectyness sounds very cool. I must figure out some way to justify the purchase of a kinect. Maybe if I sell the Wii....

Dont feel so bad now, other than actually downloading the update and flicking through the pages I haven't touched my Ps3 or Xbox in a week. :eek:

Mine hasn't posted anything to my FB page as of yet and I've gotten loads of new DLC and achievements since updating. The app is signed in on my Dashboard and I have gold and all is good on my side but no posting of stuff to FB.
Do you have to set beacons on a game for it to work? Probably a stupid question but I just haven't played with it much yet.
 
I have updated, but have yet to try all the new functions. I'm a bit wary of linking the account to my Facebook and Twitter.

You actually need to share each achievement manually. It doesn't post to Facebook automatically.
 
Noticed tonight that YouTube, Blinkbox and Muvu apps are available. I haven't been on in a few days so this could be old news.
 
I must say, the one thing I am loving about this update is the youtube app! Finally a use for the chatpad for me, Hahah!
