Aion - General Discussion

Thanks guy.
I read some posts in the other thread as well of WoW vs Aion and saw some of the reasons there too... makes me wonder if it is worth it to try... my time is very limited so don't want to waste it on s..t

Haha ... fair enough. Dunno ... I'm having fun playing around ... I have 7 alts, so I hop around a lot. My legion is coming along pretty nicely as well now that we've done some active recruiting - went level 3 last week - I still need to do the logo et al though.

Some day when I have time.

I created an Asmo char as well - wanted to see the story from that side :D

I enjoyed Aion, but I didn't have the time for it. My November subs ran out without me playing once. :(

Plus I have a myriad of Single Player Xbox & PC games that I need to finish before I can think of MMO's again.
 
Well, see, that's the thing.

If you don't have or can't make the time to play Aion, then it is really nothing more than a massive waste of money.

For myself, GW took up most of my gaming time, but I was starting to look around for something new - and Aion was it. And this will probably also only last until GW2 hits the shelves, which means I'll be canning my account and moving over to a F2P model again :D

Keeps me busy in the meantime.
 
would love that... i would have kept nice and quiet, and sommer ninja like distribute it among my legion members
 
Somehow, after 2 or 3 months I always end up running back to Guild Wars with my tail between my legs :o

I would if I could now...
 
Hmm got a very steady HSDPA connection going finally! After having my ADSL killed by the retarded Telkom. Maybe I should load this up again since last time I only got 4 days in before my ADSL went down permanently.

How is the game these days?
 
By the looks of things, most of the people here got pretty bored with it.

I'm still enjoying it though, I do at least an hour or two every night.
 
I do not mind grind, and honestly it seems most of the MMO-ers here hop around a lot and do not often stick to any title (Happens when you have been playing them for too long).

Maybe my 6 month break from the genre will help me get into it.
 
Cool I think I will likely load this back up sooner than later.

Any idea roughly the size of the cumulative updates from release to current? I may need to go buy a few more gigs then.
